Taeyeon and Tiffany were known as the perfect couple in their school. Many other students were jealous of their relationship because their relationship was the sweetest thing ever. Their closeness and cheesiness led to many people to be green with envy. Their story was perfect, with the perfect characters and the perfect plot, but in one part of the chapters, their story wasn’t pleasant at all.

Taeyeon was going to look for Tiffany in her class, but then, when she reached the outside of Tiffany’s classroom, she saw something she didn’t want to see for life. Tiffany was with a boy from her class, and the boy, who was back facing Taeyeon, looked a lot like he was kissing Tiffany. After their “kiss” broke apart, Tiffany saw Taeyeon running away. Instantly, she knew that Taeyeon saw the whole scene, and also knowing that Taeyeon would misunderstand her, she ran out of the class to find Taeyeon.

“Tae!” Tiffany shouted, hoping that Taeyeon will stop running away from her, but Taeyeon didn’t. She ran even harder. Tiffany chased after Taeyeon with the speed of lightning. She wasn’t sure why and how she could run so fast when she’s always bad at it, but that wasn’t important.

“Taeyeon!” She shouted again at Taeyeon, while grabbing onto Taeyeon’s hand.

“What?” Taeyeon said in a cold tone.

“Listen to me. It was all just a…” Tiffany has yet to complete her sentence but Taeyeon cut her.

“I’ve seen it in my own eyes. Stop lying to me. How long has it been?” Taeyeon said.

“I told you, it was just a misunderstand Taeyeon! He was just trying to help me…” And Tiffany got cut off again.

“Help you what? To feel happy by kissing you?” Taeyeon said sarcastically.

“No! Will you just listen to me explain? Stop cutting me off. There was something on my hair, and he was just trying to help me remove it.” Tiffany explained.

“Yah! You’re in a wrong now and you’re telling me to not interrupt? What a nice explanation, everyone could have thought of that.” Taeyeon said.

“So am I the only one in the wrong now? What about you? Interrupting my sentence here and there, not giving me a chance to explain. And that was really what happened in the class. It’s up to you to believe.” Tiffany said coldly and looked away from Taeyeon.

“I only trust my eyes. Tiffany, let me tell you something. Nothing hurts more than being betrayed by your other half. That is what that ends most of the relationships as well. We’re over.” Taeyeon said and started to walk away. Her heart hurts so much from saying that. Her eyes were all watery. She didn’t want to let Tiffany see her being so weak so she avoided her Tiffany’s eyes, and that’s why she chose to walk away.

“Do you really want this? Seriously Tae?” Tiffany asked Taeyeon.

“Yes.” Taeyeon tried to sound as cold as possible despite her sadness.

“Alright, if that is what you want, I’m cool with it.” Because Tiffany was pissed at Taeyeon’s attitude, she replied that. After saying that, Tiffany walked away from Taeyeon.

The pain that Tiffany felt was as much as what Taeyeon felt. They both knew that they didn’t want to end their relationship, but due to their stubbornness, they didn’t try to revive the situation. Simple complications, miscommunications like this can end long-time relationships very quick and effectively.

News was spread quickly about their breakup. For the next few days, both Taeyeon and Tiffany were sick and tired of answering yes about their separation. It gave them double the agony because they wished that they were saying no instead of yes when people ask them about their breakup.

Whenever they see each other in school, they acted like they were not bothered about it and just walked past each other coldly. But for every one time they walk past each other, there would be one more level of hurt adding onto their hearts. It was killing them inside, but they didn’t show it because they didn’t want to let each other think that they cannot handle such situations. But the truth is, they were always crying back
