Driving into the villa, Taeyeon then parked her car in the garage. 

She switched off the engine, and sunk her head back to the head rest.

Taeyeon shut her eyes and stayed in that position for some time.

Her mind kept replaying the scene where Tiffany had took off with Yuri.

Burying her face in her palms, she thought dejectedly. 

‘Is this how it’s gonna be?’ 



Looking sideways, she saw the two bags of take outs that she had gotten for Tiffany and herself. 

Sighing heavily, she took the bags in one hand and proceeded to enter the villa. 

She placed the bags on the table, and proceeded to the living room, no longer having the appetite. 

She looked around the room, hoping to sight at least a note from Tiffany informing her of her whereabouts. 

Taeyeon wasn’t mad. 

Well, not entirely mad. 

But she was hoping that Tiffany would have that certain amount of respect towards herself being her wife. 

Yeah, she wasn’t entirely mad. She was disappointed. That’s the word.


Unknowingly, a tear trickled down her cheek. 

Her heart ached. 

And she knew the reason behind it.


Her heart is starting to beat for Tiffany. 

Her wife had managed to secure the spot in Taeyeon’s heart.


Several thoughts were running through Taeyeon’s mind. 

Her body had been paralysed on the sofa for the longest time. 

She’s lost as to what she should do. 

She has fallen. 

She has fallen deeply in love with Tiffany, and that made her scared. 




‘Vroom!’

The sound of a motorcycle and the engine being shut down brought Taeyeon back from her trance. 

She walked up to the window and stood behind the large curtains. 

Drawing a part of the curtain entails her to a full view of Yuri removing the helmet from her wife’s head. 

And if that wasn’t enough, she had to witness her wife being given a kiss for god knows how long. 




Something broke. 

It broke into a million pieces. 

It shattered. 

Taeyeon felt as if her heart was wrenched out from her body and stomped on.

It hurt badly.






Feeling the sudden gush of wind, she saw the main door being opened. 

Taeyeon then shifted her head towards the door. 

Eyes were locked and silence engulfed both souls. 

Neither voiced out. 




After what seemed like forever, Tiffany breathed out a word. 

‘Tae…..’

And before she could go on, Taeyeon cut her off.


‘I got dinner for you. Have it if you have not. I’m turning in. Pack your bags, we’re leaving tomorrow first thing in the morning.’ 


With that, Taeyeon left the room leaving Tiffany feeling cold. 

A part of Tiffany wanted to arrange her feet, and to move towards the direction of Taeyeon’s room.

But the image of Yuri stopped her. 

Yuri did nothing wrong. 

It isn’t fair for her. 

And Tiffany was certain of her feelings for Yuri. 

She loves her. She still does. 


Tiffany then shifted her gaze towards the dining table. 

Two sets of take outs were visible. Neither of the set was touched. 

‘She hasn’t had her dinner.’ Tiffany thought followed by a deep sigh.



Tiffany did not wish to think about it. 

It’s too complicated. And it’s better to keep it simple before things get out of hand. 

But she knew better. This has gone way out of hand.

Things have changed the moment she said ‘I do.’






Both Tiffany and Taeyeon had a sleepless night.
