Part 2

“Take care, baby. I’m going to miss you a lot.”

Taeyeon was hugging her girlfriend tight. She kisses both her cheeks and passionately at her pouting lips.

“Taengoo, I’m going to miss you too. I love you.”

“I love you too. Don’t forget to eat.”

Jessica just nods and pulls her luggage. She walks away and stops halfway. She turns and wave to Taeyeon again.

Somewhere along the airport, stood a tan tall girl. She was watching the exchange between the two in anger and confusion.

Tiffany rubs her cheeks in order to keep herself awake. She sighs again. It was sleepless night for two days in a row. She was kept awake due to Taeyeon absence. She leans back and rested her head at the chair. She jumps a little when a familiar husky voice greets her.

“Tired?”

Tiffany straightened and saw the tanned girl smiling widely at her.

“Yuri.”

She stands up and hugs the girl in delight.

“What brings you here?”

“Work. Care to have lunch with me?”

Tiffany smiles and nod.

They went to a nearby café for lunch.

“How are you doing? How’s marriage life?”

Tiffany fakes a smile.

“I’m fine. It was okay. Different but okay.”

Yuri eyes her suspiciously.

“Are you happy, MiYoung?”

“I am.” Tiffany fakes her smile.

Yuri sighs. She knows Tiffany too well. She witnesses the event this morning. She knows Tiffany is not happy. So does Taeyeon.

“I still love you.”

“Yuri.”

“I know. I’ve tried. Don’t worry. I know where I stand. It hurts but it hurt me more to see you in pain.”

Tiffany bows. She didn’t want to look at Yuri.

“What happen? I thought you said she’s going to take care of you. If she won’t, I will take you back.”

“No. I’m fine. Don’t meddle in my business, Yuri.”

“I know you’ll stay with her. It won’t hurt to try though.” Yuri just shrugged at her broken heart on the rejection.

“Yuri.”

“It’s okay. I’ll wait for you.”

“Don’t. Please move on. For me?”

“When the time comes.”

Tiffany let out her breath in frustration at Yuri stubbornness and changes their topic.

“You are working with whom now?”

 “For myself. Freelance.”

“Assignment leads you to Korea?”

“Yes. Can’t waste a chance to see you again.”

“How long you’ll be here?”

“Two days. If things worked out, I’ll come back next two week for 6 months assignment.”

“So we’ll be seeing you a lot?”

Yuri chuckles. “Yes, but I’ll be going back and forth to Paris. I still have assignment there to be complete in the next two months.”

“I see. Sunny will be happy to hear that. She misses you a lot. I miss you too my friends.”

Yuri feels bitter at that. I guess I’m just your friend now.

Sunny was busy completing her work when she notices a figure standing in front of her. Her expression hardens looking at the smiling figure.

“Soon-kyu-ah, I miss you a lot.”

“Funny. I didn’t though.”

Taeyeon face fell. She knows how her best friend is angry with her. Sunny had taken her wife side in the wedding matter. She didn’t agree on her choice and decision. She was friends with Jessica too. Taeyeon never expected Sunny will be this angry.

“Let’s have lunch with me. Please?” Taeyeon pleads. “I miss us.”

“Where’s your Jessica? Not having lunch with her?” Sunny said rudely.

The truth is, Sunny misses her best friends too but she was angry because she thinks they were being selfish, Taeyeon for hurting and blaming Tiffany without considering her pain and Jessica because she was unable to see that Taeyeon is someone else wife now.

Taeyeon flinched at the rudeness that she rarely sees from her short friends.

“She’s out of the country. Please Sunny? I really do want to make it up to you.”

“Fine.”

The two best friends went to a nearby café. Taeyeon was happy that at least Sunny agrees to have lunch with her. What she saw next surprise her. Sunny was squealing and hugging a tan girl who was with her wife.

“Yuri. It’s nice to meet you again.”

“Soon-kyu-ah, you still didn’t grow.”

“Yah. That’s all you can say after 1 year missing?”

“I miss you too.”
