Taeyeon was stunned. 

With mouth agape, Tiffany had to shove the box in her tummy bringing her to snap out of her trance.

‘Aaah. I just ate, you pabo!!’ 

‘But thanks....’ She smiled as she turned to walk towards the cab with Tiffany walking alongside her.


With the door ajar, Taeyeon was almost in the cab when she turned to have a last look at her wife.


Slowly, she left a lingering kiss on her forehead. 


‘See you. Call me if you need anything. Even if you saw a bug or when u can’t sleep in the stormy night.’ 


Like an obedient child, Tiffany just bobbed her head up and down.



As the car departed from her sight, Tiffany attempted to dismiss thoughts of Taeyeon out of her head. 



But it was hard. 

And she was well aware of it.



Making her way back into the house, she slumped down next to Yoona.



‘How’re you feeling?’


‘Honestly?’


Yoona nodded.


‘Downright confused. My head is messed up.’


‘Why am I feeling this way Yoona?’


‘I love Yuri. And I care for Tae. Neither of them deserves this from me.’


Tiffany began to sob.


‘Hey, take it easy. Let time take its course yeah?’


Yoona then leaned forward to bring her best friend to a hug.

Tiffany's phone went off.

She stared down her phone.




‘Aren’t you going to answer that?’


Tiffany looked up to Yoona and shook her head.


The song ended, followed by a ring on Yoona’s phone.


‘Your girlfriend’s calling me now.’


Simultaneously, Tiffany’s phone rang again.




Its Taeyeon.





Tiffany ruffled her hair and turned to Yoona.




‘Tell them both I’m asleep.’


With that, Tiffany left leaving Yoona handling her phone calls.

Taeyeon was still in the cab, making her way to the airport.


The gift presented by her wife was still secured in her hands.


Slowly, she unwrapped the ribbons and revealed the content inside the box.


Taeyeon chuckled.



‘Stupid girl. How does she expect me to finish up all these gummy worms?’


She looked out the window, thinking of that one person that made her heart skip a beat.



‘Aish. What do you want me to do Tiffany?’ Taeyeon thought to herself.







Taeyeon was boarding the plane. 

Her plan to update and thank Tiffany for the lovely present failed when the latter is said to have gone to sleep. 


So she could only pass the message to Yoona who answered the call.

Tiffany realised how far off she has strayed from her initial plan of staying away from Taeyeon for the past couple of days.


So she got herself together and decided on making it up to Yuri.



She hoped that with Taeyeon gone, there will be lesser heartaches. 



She hoped that with Taeyeon gone, things will get to be much simpler.



Well, that was what she hoped.
