JR POV 

I sighed as we changed positions for the umpteenth time for today. We had been shooting so that we could be on the cover of next month’s Ceci magazine’s issue. To say it was tiring was an understatement. We had been rudely awakened at 6 am so that we could get ready and it’s been more than 5 hours that we started the shoot. “Can’t we take a break?” Ren groaned. “Just a few more shots and then we can take a lunch break.” our managed pacified us.

“Right.” Aron hyung muttered, completely infuriated by now. It was another hour before the photographer allowed us to go on a lunch break. We all collapsed on the sofa. “Do you all have the energy to go out to get lunch?” I asked them. “Does it look like it?” Baekho asked. ‘So much for being a good leader.’ I sighed. Just then a cellphone rang. “That’s yours.” Ren pointed out.”Let it ring. I don’t have the energy to walk to the table to get it.” I said.

 It stopped ringing and then a few seconds later it started again. “Darn it.” I cussed and got up to get it. “JR you’re in danger so please gather your members and step into a black van waiting outside. I’m from the CIA and if you meet Ryan, run and hide. Please hurry!” a man stated. “Guys get up. We’re in danger and need to run.” I told them causing them to get up in an instant.   

MIA POV  

I knocked Kai unconscious and lay him in a corner. “Goodbye Jongin.” I whispered as I covered him with big pieces of rubble with just enough space to breathe. I continued quickly as I heard noises from around the house. “About time you arrived. It’s showdown boys.” I mentally prepared myself to put up a big fight.  ‘Till Kai’s alright, everything is okay. Fight for him.’ I encouraged myself.

Judging by how many times the door of a car was slammed there were about six men. I stood behind the half moth eaten door at the entrance waiting to welcome them in. “I know both of you are in there so you better come out right now while we’re still nice.” a voice from outside called. ‘If I go out now; they’ll search the place well. So I’m going to stay in to keep them busy.’ I decided.  “We’re coming in; think of your last wishes.” The voice jeered again. 

As they stepped in, because I had the element of surprise I was able to have a clean shot at the first three men. The rest were alerted to my position so I had to depend on hand to hand combat to deal with the others. Punches were being thrown all around and it was becoming increasing difficult to dodge all of them. I was doing pretty well until I was hit by solid, heavy object from behind causing me to lose my footing. 

Falling to the ground, they pounced on me like wolves. I was able to ward them off for sometime but someone grabbed my hair and knocked it to the ground. I felt myself being tied up and led to a car before the throbbing in my head became worse and white acidic stars clouded my vision till I was numb. I opened my eyes and blinked to clear my blurry vision. I noticed I was tied to a chair and started to work my way through the knots.

“The sleeping beauty has awakened!  Well look who has graced us with her presence today. You’ve caused a lot of trouble for me. Now you’re going to pay for being so difficult.” he spat and slapped me. The man was dressed in an expensive shirt and looked rich. Even his face was familiar as if I had seen him somewhere, yet I couldn’t place him.  

“Our little boy Ryan was quite fascinated by you. He always appreciated how good you were at your job and look what you did to him. You killed him!” he gasped dramatically.  “Untie me and fight me you cowardly .” I sneered at him. “Aren’t you feisty?” he asked and then punched my face. “Now tell where the idols are and where you’ve hidden Kai.” he demanded, yanking my hair.

“He ran away.” I answered. “Don’t you dare lie to me.” he screamed as he landed another punch to my face. I could feel blood starting to drip down my nose. “He got away god damn it. It’s not my fault; it’s the fault of your sissy men.” I yelled back. “Do you know who you’re talking to?” he asked and he held my jaw and faced me to look at him. Pain and anger flared up my body.  “I’m B.D. Scotts, President and founder of Scotts and Co. the company that holds 73% shares in the Korean technology sector.” he boasted.  

“That’s why you wanted no copyrights. You could advertise products for free without them.” I realized. “Excellent. This proves you’re smart. Now tell me where Kai is. I’ll just use him as bait.” he ordered. “You’re just a greedy monster. You won’t ever get to Kai.” I laughed at him. “Very well then. I have never liked wasting talent but since you insist on being stubborn, this is all I can do.” he said and started to roll the sleeves of his shirt.

 Fear formed a deep haze in my mind and I started to wonder if I would ever come out of this ordeal alive.  I was untied from the chair and tied again to the post. ‘No matter what he does; I’m not giving in,’ was my last thought before I saw what he had in mind. A shiver ran down my spine and my blood started to run cold.
