I returned to the dorm in a happier mood than I had been for days. The two things that I noticed would hopefully bring me closer to finding out who the double agent was. When I returned the boys were still glued to the TV while D.O. and Lay cooked. “Do you know of any bakery nearby?” I asked them. “Why suddenly?” Chanyeol inquired. “To celebrate!” I sighed happily.  “Celebrate what?” Baekhyun asked, glancing at Kris. “It’s a secret. Now tell me!” I chided them. “I’ll get you what you want.” Kris offered. “No! It’s my treat.” I said.

“Let me drive you there. It’s at a short distance and I don’t want you to walk so much.” he said and got up to get the car keys. I shrugged and noticed everyone snickering. “Is there something on my face?” I turned and asked Xiumin who was sitting the closest to me. “No! You’re pretty as always Mia!” Luhan almost yelled.  “Hyung you’ll get killed.” Sehun remarked as Kris stepped out and gave Luhan a look. “What was that about?” I asked Kris as I fell in step with him. “Take your time. Don’t rush!” I heard Chen yell.  

“A day off always does this to them.” he sighed melodramatically, making me laugh.  “You never told me that occasion.” he prodded. “It’s a secret.” I whispered. After that he drove in complete silence. We reached a quaint bakery after a couple of minutes. I picked out a large chocolate cake and we left the bakery before chaos could erupt because of an idol. Kris on the other hand was sulking like a five year old denied candy. “If you don’t talk to me, I won’t give you any cake.” I threatened him, gaining no response from him.

“How about I give you the biggest piece of cake?” I asked. He remained impassive. The silence was becoming too much for my nerves. “Stop acting like a kid.” I reprimanded him to be met with silence. “Fine. Don’t talk to me; see if I care.” I huffed and kept quiet. As soon as we reached, I got out and started to walk without waiting for him. He caught up pretty soon though. “Are you sure you can’t tell me?” he asked. “So now you talk to me. I’m not going to talk.” I answered and turn away from him. We entered the dorm to find EXO already midway through dinner.

“Sorry mei-mei, we thought you would take time and we were really hungry.” Tao explained. “It’s alright Gege. Where’s Kai though?” I asked pulling out a chair. “He won’t come out. He’s a little unwell.” D.O. answered. “I’ll go check up on him. You all continue.” I said. “There’s no need. He’ll be fine without your help.” he snapped at me. I was taken aback at his tone and meekly sat down. “She’s just trying to help.” Kris defended.

“She can’t make everything right. She has to stop acting like a kid and learn that. It’s better if she learns it now.” he yelled.  “I might be just a kid to you but atleast I’m trying to help and not immaturely dishing out crap to people. I understand something ticked you off but yelling at me without any apparent reason won’t help.” I snarled, rolling my eyes at him. "I'm going to get up and go to Kai. I’d like to see you try and stop me.” I slowly said, challenging him.

 I got up and he mimicked my actions. “Go guard the door. We’ll see who is helping and who isn’t.” I motioned for him to go ahead. He started to walk to the room’s gate as I waited. “Hyung let her go in.” Sehun requested. “Mia sit down.” Suho ordered, followed by everyone else asking us to calm down.  He leaned on the room’s door and waited for me.  I stood right in front of him and looked him in the eye. “Jongin!” I yelled from the same position. The next moment was quiet and I watched a  lazy smug smile etched its way on D.O. face.  

The next instant that changed into a frown as he landed first on the floor as Kai opened the door. I offered him my hand and pulled him to his feet. “By now you should have learnt not to challenge me. Well atleast now you know. I guess some people learn the hard way.” I snarked. I turned to Kai who didn’t have a clue of what was going on. “Would you like some chocolate cake?” I asked, a wry grin on my face.
