Junhwe froze at the sight of the waterfalls that had built over his girlfriend's face. That moment, he noticed just how badly he had screwed up. He wanted to move, to pull her in and tell her everything would be alright but his body didn't allow him to move. It was like his feet were glued to the floor, it was like his shirt had gotten heavier, so heavy that even if he was iron man, he would be unable to move his arms. His brain was frozen as well - he was unable to think.
''Junhwe...GOO JUNHWE!'' someone shouted, making the male shake his head slightly and look at the caller. The place he was looking at was empty by that moment he wasn't even sure of how things turned out to be, just the thought of his girlfriend crying made him feel dizzy as he didn't expect to see that side of her, even if it came out once in a while, she had never cried as heavy as she did today. ''What are you still doing here, idiot? Can't you run after her?'' her best friend shouted at the male who suddenly gasped and nodded firmly. He whispered a rushed thanks before following his girlfriend out. He knew she couldn't be far from there since she'd rather sit down and cry it out before bringing herself up.
He stopped running, coming across a dilema; wich way did she go? He wasn't sure since there were possible destinations she could have choosen everywhere. He was lost. However, his eyes scanned the surroundings, eliminating a few locations since he knew that for her, crying was a sign of weakness and she didn't like showing how weak she was able to be when she cried to anybody therefore, either she was at somewhere closed or somewhere that was desert at that hour. She couldn't possibly run into a cafe; it would drag way too many curious and unwanted stares. He rolled his eyes and groaned ''Yeeun where the are you?'' he shouted angrily after looking around like a fool for a few minutes.
Junhwe was pissed as he thought of what he could have done to make the female run away like she did but nothing really came to his brain as he kept looking around. The fact she ran away from him wasn't exactly helping him either as he found this the worst case scenario. He had asked her to talk to him if anything went wrong but under that empty promise they made each other, he knew none of them would follow it. Either because of the dust they let growing in between or the simple fact they had maybe a little bit too much pride slapping their brains.
Yeeun on the other hand, tried to calm herself down - she knew she didn't exactly want to face Junhwe in that moment, not because he had done something wrong but because she knew she wouldn't be able to hold onto her tears if he was by her side, comforting her and that was actually the last thing she even wanted to happen. It was bad enough the fact she was actually crying two rivers that shouldn't even exist.
Thinking back at the week she had to survive through, it has been a mess. She found out crying was the only thing she could do to stop herself from living the kind of misery she had been living. It was like being through hell. And Junhwe's shouts didn't exactly help. She came to visit him but he was a bit too busy with his friends, perhaps even preparing for something. She had no right to walk in like she did but she also knew he had no right to shout at her like he did.
After some good ten minutes, she decided to stop. The female got up, sobbing as she wiped away her tears as she found her own behaviour childish - why did she even have to cry when all that happened her that week wasn't big enough to make her drop a single tear? Oh wait, it was Junhwe who we were talking about, the guy who was able to turn her system upside down and pull it back whenever, the guy who was able to make her feel like she was on cloud 9. The young man who was able to move her to heaven just to drop her down on hell the second after. Yeah, the one she called boyfriend.
Coughing, the female shook her head; she shouldn't be crying especially because she would have a lot to explain and she wanted to avoid that, actually as it wasn't something she wanted to do. As she walked back, she thought of what excuse she would give the male, to avoid the conversation just to bump her head into something. She was about to apologize as she looked up, rubbing her forehead as she was actually curious to know what she bumped into but two strong arms held her firmly, tightly against a sudden warmness.
''ing idiot, I was so worried.'' he whispered, making her understand it was her boyfriend. He was standing right in front of her, hugging her tightly to him as if she was the most special thing in his world and she was, at least for him. Yeeun froze, not really knowing what to do in a situation like this since she heard his voice crack and soft breathes coming out - he too, was crying and this didn't happen often, it was even more rare for her to see her boyfriend crying. They were both like a bottle that little by little let another drop live inside them until the last rain drop ruins everything. ''I swear...if...'' he stopped, crying as he held onto her tightly ''I swear... I don't know what I'd do if I didn't find you.'' he whispered, trying his best to stop his tears, just to have Yeeun's arms wrapping around his waist gently and her head resting over his shoulder - she didn't want to speak, neither did he.
Once the couple pulled away, Junhwe laughed quietly at how his girlfriend looked - he simply wanted to distract her from his own tears ''You look so ugly when you cry...'' the female was surprised as she didn't actually hear him asking her whatever was wrong with her, for the first time ''Nobody looks nice whenever they cry.'' she whispered back, glaring at him just to make the male laugh ''I look fantastic, no matter what...but that's not the point. Tears really don't suit you.'' sniffing, the male spoke, taking this oportunity to wipe away from her eyes all those tears that had gone overboard, rolling down from the top of the bottle - that could actually be concidered her eyes. He knew he needed to empty her worries so she would be back to what she usually was and with that, he would be healed too.
''Do you want to stop by, today?'' he whispered, caressing her cheek gently as there was no need to speak louder than a gentle whisper. Yeeun frowned, shaking her head slightly which made the male worried but he knew why she was refusing his proposal, leading him to sigh. ''You're more important to me in this second...and actually ever since we started dating. I can make up for the time I lost practicing tomorrow, I'm not leaving you alone today. You need me...'' Junhwe looked away, feeling a bit shy as his sentence wasn't done ''And I need you too...'' he whispered, feeling his cheeks burn - he still wanted to look cool in front of his girlfriend. Yeeun laughed at how shy he was acting, ending up hugging him tightly ''Let's go home.''
