"But... What do you mean?" his dark brown eyes looked darker on that specific day, probably over the thought of loosing someone who was so important to him. His birthday was just around the corner yet, she decided to announce it like that. "I decided with my mom... It's the best. The place I'm living now doesn't give enough leach to do what I need to in order to fulfil my dreams." the female spoke calmly before noticing two trails of water run down his cheeks. For that same reason, she didn't show up on his 14th birthday party.

Even today that small scene replayed on Jinhee's head. She had parted from her crush in the most dramatic way possible; but she was glad he didn't get to know about her feelings. She had no space in his life as Kim Hanbin claimed his work to be his life. He often forgot about other people but his mom. She was close with his mom and due to her crush, she kept in touch with her once in a while to know how Hanbin was doing. But the answer was all the same; he rarely was home to accompany her. She even knew about his little sister who was born a couple of years after she left.

Currently, both of them were twenty one, adults by law and that brought so much trouble to their lives. Her head rest over the glass window that parted the outside from the car she was sitting in. Her head was somewhere else and her mother kept talking to her but she didn't pay the wlightest tip of attention to whatever has been announced.

"Yoon Jinhee!" her mother's shout was enough to wake her up to reality. She was now paying attention as she stared at her locker who was sitting by her side. "I said me and your stepfather decided to offer you a trip to Korea, along with your best friend because we think you deserve. You've been down lately..." the female gasped, not believing the news "But... M-mom.... I can't accept it... You're having a hard time managing the money you e-" "It was your stepfather's idea, plus the tickets are already bought..." Jinhee stood still, wondering what she should answer to this. Her lips were pressed into a straight line as she looked outside, feeling bad for this situation.

Once she arrived home, she threw herself on the bed and sighed quietly. She received a call from her best friend "Eonnie!!!" she shouted; she wasn't even Korean but she did like Korean stuff, such as bands and food. Jinhee's comprehension was beyond that; she decided to erase her background as she thought she wouldn't be back in Korea. What if she found Hanbin? Her mind built a scenario in which her best friend knew about her first love, in which she talked to him to bring them together but she was glad she didn't tell her about him. The female heard her name being called over the line; she smiled slightly "Did your mom talk to you yet? I kinda convinced your stepfather to let you come to Korea with me." her mother was working for her best friend therefore, it meant that her best friend was paying for Jinhee's ticket, stay, food and everything else it included. Her lip was now trapped in between her teeth; she was not sure if she was ready to see Hanbin yet.

"I got the play planned out for us. And I got a ticket for my favorite band, you said they were pretty cool, remember?" her best friend went on and on about her favorite band and how they were handsome, how she managed to get v.i.p. passes and how she even got to see their first concert. On the other hand, Jinhee couldn't care less.

Her mind flew back to the time when she was still a little kid, when Hanbin and her always came from school together; either her mom would pick them up or his mother would pick them up. When they were old enough to walk home alone, they headed to the park by themselves and stood there for about an hour before heading home to do their homework. Some years later, she was presented to another kid, named Jiwon who was a bit older than the male. He was his new best friend as both of them were busy following their dream. He had left school right after that, which meant she had nobody to walk home with. They rarely saw each other and the second his birthday came up, she left.

"Eonnie, are you okay? You're so quiet..." the female sighed softly "I'm sorry, I was thinking about something.  But what were you saying?" "Oh just that B.I. and Bobby are my bias so you should keep it cool when we meet them!" she chuckled over the line making Jinhee smile softly "You can have them all for you, I don't really mind. When are we going?" she asked, knowing this trip probably would be good for her; she got to be back at her own hometown and probably would get to visit her father. "The day after tomorrow." she informed "I'm actually on my way to help you pack, I asked your mom so you could spend two days with me before we go!" she was happy as always but that never really bothered Jinhee.

Not even ten minutes passed; the female was already greeting her parents when Jinhee came out of her room. "Jinhee is upstairs, honey... And thank you for this, Jinhee really needs to relax." the female made her way upstairs happily. Jinhee took a look around  her room just to find herself drowned in memories. Her best friend never really entered her room without having Jinhee hiding some stuff. This time, she only pulled the picture where Hanbin had a goofy smile away; she kept the one he was giving her a piggy back ride because honestly, even if he didn't know about her feelings, she still liked him; he was her first love after all and still her best friend, at least for her. And since she never really confessed, the female never got to forget him. It didn't change thing though.

"Eonnie!!!!" her best friend shouted, running inside her room as she opened the door without knocking. Jinhee was holding onto the picture where Hanbin was giving her a piggy back ride but his face wasn't clear as he was arguing with her. Her best friend blinked as she didn't even react to her entrance when she usually nagged at her, saying she needed to knock. Her eyes looked at Jinhee, noticing a tear escaping her eyes; she looked back down at the picture, which gave the elder female enough time to wipe the tear away. "Are you okay?" "Yeah just... I left a lot back in Korea and I don't know if I'm ready to face those again. I'm just... I guess I'm afraid to go there." "You don't need to come of you feel bad, eonnie... " "No no, it's okay... I want to visit my father's grave so... " she sniffed before putting the picture protected by a thin glass away. She got back to packing while her best friend calmly analyzed the picture.  "Do you want to talk about it? I mean... I know you decided to forget but I can clearly see you didn't so... I'm here to listen to you." "It's just... " she sighed, stopping her hands from packing as she sat on the floor "That boy was very close to me... We were best friends and I kinda liked him but he never really liked me back. This one day, he was accepted to a company or whatever because it was his dream and then he stopped coming to school so I had nobody else to come home with. We met up every Thursday because it was the only day I came home from school earlier but that was until he found a new best friend. I guess I was ditched. My mom decided we should move to America so she could have some more opportunities in order to have a better life so I ended up not confessing to him. He invited me to his birthday party but I really didn't want to go because honestly, I felt like I wasn't part of his life anymore. I told him the day before I wouldn't be able to attend to his party because I was moving away and after that...we didn't talk anymore. I talk to his mother every here and then to check up on him but I guess I should stop doing it because honestly, he probably hates me now and yeah..." she looked up to see her best friend crying. She blinked "Your story is so sad!" she cried more "It's just like a drama!" Jinhee raised a eyebrow at her best friend before sighing quietly "We can try to find him... After attending to ikon's concert cause you know.... It's their debut concert!" she squealed, going from 0 to 100 real quick. "Yeah... Hanna... Calm down." she got back to her previous task, packing with the help of her best friend whose real name was Emily but she'd rather be called Hanna. Sounded better to her.

The night was darker than usual; Jinhee had already bid goodbye to her parents and now, was heading to Hanna's house. Hanna tried to distract Jinhee by talking about her favorite group and how they were amazing about everything they did. By now, she had her brain full of information; the band was under YG entertainment, their names were B.I., Bobby, Jinhwan, Junhwe, Donghyuk, Yunhyeong and Chanwoo. They had lost WIN but the original team b had made it through Mix as Match, only to have a new member added which was Chanwoo, the new maknae. She knew almost everything but she still found those information useless.

Two days. Two days and she'd be heading back to Korea. Little did she know she would be facing Hanbin on the most unexpected scenario.
