hanbin and the girl is in arranged marriage and hanbin knows that she never loves him no matter how much he tried to show his love. She did her best as wife though. Then oneday they met his bestfriend bobby in a party and turned out that he was her ex. Hanbin realized that she actually still love her ex, thats why she couldnt fall for him. He decided to let her go even tho she rejected the idea before.

His eyes landed on the ring he had on his finger. Up until now, he had been pretty optimistic, finding out the reason she didn't want to return his feelings for her was yet hard for him. Hanbin thought it was no other than probably the fact they were married through arranged marriage.

"Dress up quickly." the male asked, fixing his hair before he threw himself on the bed they shared or were supposed to share. Jihyun found it hard to sleep on the bed with Hanbin at first but she had grown close to him, in a friendly way. He wasn't bad at all but she couldn't get over her ex. There was still a lot they had to say to each other and they didn't exactly broke up. There was no goodbye said therefore, she kept hoping this was a dream... Better,  a nightmare, in which her parents forced her to marry someone she didn't know until things were back to normal. "What are you talking about? I'm ready. I was waiting for you, idiot." she rolled her eyes at the male like she always did, with a hint of playfulness. 

''What's the special ocasion though?'' curiosity took over the female who looked at the male that was still deciding if he should or not get off the bed in that moment. ''My best friend. You guys haven't met yet and well...maybe this can help you feel closer to me?'' he stated, asking since he didn't really know how to put it. The female stared at him quietly through the mirror, understanding where he was trying to get ''You know that's not going to happen. I told you before.'' Hanbin sighed but he couldn't give up...he wanted her to like him back. He learned how to love her, why couldn't she make an effort as well? It wasn't that hard. She just needed to spend some more time with her eyes on him...it wasn't that hard. Hanbin could swear he tried everything before but he never really got to any extreme. The most he was able to do was backhug her when they slept but it would take a while until the female fell asleep as his touch made her miss her ex more and more; she couldn't explain it but it was like it was her ex who was by her side and not Hanbin. Either way, she didn't want to have him growning expectations therefore, when they were awake, she would avoid coming close to him so he wouldn't get the wrong message. The last thing she needed was to have him hurt. She liked him...as a friend.

''He's the same height as me. His hair is darker and his eyes are smaller.'' ''I bet his nose is smaller too.'' she , watching Hanbin roll his eyes by the corner of her eyes; she laughed at the way he reacted. He couldn't expect her not to . Jihyun took a look outside the window, making up her mind to try her best to collaborate with Hanbin so this would be easier. ''I call him Bobby often.'' he informed; this information was useless as the female wouldn't bother to remember his name, his face nor his features after this meeting. She wasn't planning on meeting any of his friends. To stop him from taking, she gently clicked the radio button so none of them needed to say anything during the ride that didn't take more than ten minutes.

Jihyun's eyes landed on the ring she had on her finger, it felt heavier than usual but she couldn't do a thing about it, she couldn't take it off nor could she simply keep it. It was a hard decision she needed to take but she refused to. The moon was already up high in the sky as they stepped out of the car. There was no wind to push Hanbin into giving her his jacket so she wouldn't be cold. Her sleeveless dress fit her perfectly as it went up to her knees, not being able to cover them completely. Jihyun looked at the building in front of her ''Are you ready?'' he held out his hand for her. Her hand landed on his as she nodded, letting him lead her inside. Being the gentleman he was, he pushed the door open and insister to have his wife walking in first. The female smiled and went in, scanning the place, being able to hear the music that was playing on the background, it was nice.

As they stepped closer to the room where the party was located in, the music got louder and the worst she felt, for leading him to think he had any chance to get her. He didn't have the slightest chance to hold onto her truly. He wasn't going to make her happy. Period. ''Are all these your best friends?'' her tone yet again was leaning towards a playful conversation. Hanbin let out a soft laugh and let his fingers intertwine with his wife's. ''Sure, all of them are my best friends.'' he answered, looking around for the male he had spoke to his wife about. 

After looking around for some good five minutes, his eyes met the male he was looking for and without wasting any other second, the male pulled his wife with him towards the place his eyes saw his best friend. ''Hyung'' he called out, grinning widely; he was about to present his wife to his best friend. They never met before...or at least that was what he thought. He didn't expect Jiwon to turn around and gasp nor did he expect his wife to freeze. ''Are you okay, Jihyun?'' this confirmed what Jiwon was thinking. He wasn't seeing things. His ex who he never really got over was standing in front of him, as his best buddy's wife. The world was short and life was unfair. He didn't know what to do; he panicked at what this was going to start; a war. Jihyun pulled off a soft smile, holding out the had that once was holding onto Hanbin's. ''It's nice to meet you, Hanbin has talked a lot about you, Bobby.'' she calmly spoke, letting him know this was not the time nor the place to let him know about this, nor their past that was supposed to be buried. He bit his lip, taking her hand ''Pleased to meet you...I didn't quite catch your name?'' ''Jihyun.'' the fake smile she pulled off was easy to notice but Hanbin didn't even suspect it. He was happy his best friend and his wife got along well.

''So...for how long are you guys together?'' Jiwon asked, trying to keep his eyes on Hanbin but failing badly as his eyes flew back to the female, to see the face he had dearly missed. He was showing it all, only people who choose to ignore this weren't able to see. ''Almost a year.'' she spoke, taking a look at Hanbin, leaning on him as a fake smile grew over her lips again. Jiwon knew her too well, he could tell this was not what she wanted. He could tell she didn't want them to meet like this as the feelings still weren't washed away by time as they should. That didn't bother him as he himself still had feelings left for her. The worst part was the fact the person in the middle was his best friend, who was there for him whenever he needed. They were married, not dating. ''Why didn't you tell me earlier?'' ''I asked you to come to my wedding but you said you didn't want to because you had broken up with your girlfriend two days before.'' Jihyun closed her eyes, not wanting to remember that day; Hanbin didn't know about it so she couldn't feel offended by this but deep down, she wanted to slap him for remembering her such a sad day. He was the reason behind their break up. ''Right...'' he sighed, taking a look at the female who seemed near to tears. If she was still his, he would pull her into his arms and let her cry all she had to cry. He would tell her how much he loved her and how he couldn't live without her, how this year that past by so quickly was hard for him, how he couldn't stand the fact they where away from each other... but he couldn't. His friendship was above his love life. Hanbin and Jiwon had something, this friendship that he wasn't willing to risk for his happiness. ''I gotta go, dude... I promised my brother I'd help him with something...'' he excused himself, taking a look at the female ''It was nice meeting you, Jihyun-ah, I hope you and Hanbin get to be happy for long.'' these bitter words made her understand that the thought of having him couldn't exist. She nodded her head, letting a silent tear escape.

Jiwon walked past them but she didn't bother to look back at the person she once had gave her heart to. Both of them knew her heart still belonged to him and his to hers. Hanbin caught a glimpse of what he could swear was a tear. He frowned and turned his head to look at the female so he could clearly see what he was suspicious about; she was crying. ''Baby...'' he risked himself by calling her that but she didn't seem to be bothered by it. ''Why are you crying?'' he whispered to her, knowing that even if the music was loud, this was enough for her. ''I just...it's your friendship with Bobby...It's beautiful.'' she quickly covered up, looking up at him as she managed to smile. He chuckled, shaking his head ''Silly.'' with this, his warm hand caressed her cheek, wiping away her tears so she wouldn't ruin the make up she took so long to get perfect. Her sudden request surprised him, ''Kiss me.'' ''Are you sure?'' she nodded, looking up at him ''Kiss me.'' she asked again, watching his smile grow; how he was happy about this, the first kiss they'd be sharing. Jihyun watched the male coming closer and closer to her until his soft lips kissed hers. She wanted to get Jiwon away from her head and she knew this was what he wanted too, she couldn't fight that. Hanbin deserved more than just a trail of a fairy tale. He needed to be the main character in the story, the one the girl fell for and couldn't get enough and in this story, the main character was Jiwon. The female felt bad for asking him this but she needed to. No, she had to, which was different.

Her hands cupped his cheeks to pull him closer to her; his hands rest on her hips as she lead the kiss. No, this was nothing like Jiwon. Jiwon's lips felt right against hers. Jiwon always knew how to kiss her, just the thought of it made her dizzy. Without wanting, she kept crying as the kiss continued. She kept comparing Hanbin to Jiwon. She kept comparing everything. His tongue against hers didn't feel as right as Jiwon's. His hands on her hips didn't seem to protect her as much as Jiwon's. His love for her wasn't filling like Jiwon's was but there was no Jiwon. She had to force herself to accept that.

Thinking back about all she did to him, she felt satisfied. She didn't give him false hopes, up until now. She had always been good for him. She had been there when he needed her the most. She had sometimes shared her care for him, as a friend and this kiss was clear for her; she didn't want Hanbin, she wanted Jiwon. She slowly pulled away, slipping her hands to his torso, lowering her head to his broad shoulder to hide it there as she ignored his wide smile. No, she did not want to see him smiling like an idiot for something that wasn't even real. Her fingertips held tightly onto the end of his shirt behind his back. The male noticed how her shoulders fell and raised slowly in between her quiet sobs that were covered by the song playing. His hand caressed her hair gently, wanting to calm her down even if he had no idea about what was going on. He wanted to be there for her ''I love you.'' he whispered to her but this was only good for worst. Jihyun managed to pull away and look at him, covering one of her eyes as she stopped ''I love you too, so much.'' she tried to fool herself, again.

To the sake of their relationship, Jihyun found out she should never be around Jiwon again but it was impossible. She was his wife and Jiwon was his best friend. He always brought up the conversation they had ''You two get along so well, of course I want to be with the both of you.'' Jihyun never really stood by Jiwon's side. She'd sit next to Hanbin who sat in the middle. Her arms wrapped around his torso as her head rest over his chest, sometimes hiding on his neck, when she decided to peek over at Jiwon and noticed he was looking at her with his deep dark eyes that showed sadness. Jihyun sometimes turned Hanbin's head to her, claiming his attention so they could share a meaningless kiss from her point of view. This was destroying two people. Jiwon couldn't watch this, not when he was so into her. Not when she was so into him and not when Hanbin was being fooled.

''Jihyun has been acting real strange since she met you.'' Hanbin commented, making his friend freeze. He was glad Jihyun wasn't there because if she was, he wouldn't be honest with his friend but even though he wanted to tell all the truth, it was hard. How was it easy to tell someone his life was fake? How when it was his best friend they were talking about? It was hard, especially for him. ''Why do you say that?'' ''I don't know, yesterday she asked me if I wanted kids, like really randomly.'' Jiwon chocked on his water, pulling away the glass from his lips. Hanbin frowned and quickly patted his back ''That would have been my reaction if I were drinking something.'' he laughed, remembering how he felt when she shared the idea of having kids. Jiwon felt heavy inside, he couldn't keep it in. ''Hanbin... if... if you had a friend and that friend knew something concerning you and your hapiness but telling that friend would destroy his life...what...what would you do?'' Jiwon asked, troubled. Hanbin kept quiet, taking a look at his hands that rest over his lap. He bit down his bottom lip, thinking deeply about it ''It deppends. If I really cared for him, I'd tell him no matter what and be there to support him...''

Jiwon's conversation with Hanbin had been replaying in Jiwon's head for the past two weeks. Of course. He decided to come up with the courage to tell him. It had to be today. His friendship was important and he didn't want him to call Jiwon a fake friend because he was not, he sacrificed himself for him. He tried forgeting about the female but it was just so hard... ''Hanbin...I've been thinking...'' he started ''About the conversation we had.'' Hanbin finished his sentence, making his best friend laugh at how easy he was to read ''Yeah...'' ''What did you decide?'' ''I...I need to talk to my friend.'' ''It's okay.'' Hanbin smiled softly, turning around to look at Jiwon who looked confused with his words. He tilted his head, wondering what the male was talking about ''I already know.'' Did Jihyun tell him? Hanbin understood what that confused face meant and calmly explained to him ''I overheard Jihyun talking to her mother once, last week. I just... I don't even know how to feel. She has never been mine yet she forced herself to fake it in order to keep you away.'' he spoke, looking at the window, trying to understand why it started raining so suddenly. ''I...Hanbin, don't worry, we won't...'' ''It's okay Jiwon. You two have held it in for too long.'' his fingers reached for the ring he had in his hand. ''We were never meant to be. I feel sorry for the two of you.'' with this, he got up, leaving the ring behind, on the table. Jiwon bit his tongue, closing his eyes What have I done?
