''Calm d-'' 

''Don't you dare to finish that stupid phrase.'' the female shouted at her team mate. She was stressed, overloaded with work and completely exhausted. Her head was messed to the point she couldn't even think straight. All because she was mad at herself for not managing to do things right. She didn't know many times she wrote down a phrase to rip away the meaning right away as the ink landed on the paper. All those words seemed meaningless to her. Everything seemed stupid in that moment and she simply couldn't get things done in that moment.

Out of a sudden, the female walked out and banged the door loudly. She wasn't the one to explode like this but lately, things simply didn't seem to go well for her side. Her head was hurting badly with all she had to do and she couldn't lean on her group mates as she was way too stressed to put her thoughts down to words they'd understand. She needed someone to understand her but the only person she knew, was busy. He was busy most of the time and time was something they both had missing. It was so little that every single second they spent breathing seemed to pull more work on them. It seemed like the work was only getting harder for both, to the point they couldn't mean, much less even share a single word whenever they saw each other. It was awful.

She redirected her body to the stairs, knowing that at least there, she'd have some privacy as mostly people would go either to the rooftop or simply outside. The female peeked around, feeling glad nobody was nearby - she wasn't even sure if she wanted her boyfriend to be there with her and to her in that moment. The second she sat down, she brown down into tears, not understanding the reason why her body was forcing those out but not questioning it either. She just wanted all that frustration to be wiped away so she could breathe normally and go back to apologize to her friend who she just shouted at for no reason.

''I knew it was a pig dying the moment I heard it...'' a familiar voice made her lift her head just to see her boyfriend standing there. She looked back down and buried her face into her hands, wanting to stop her tears but not having enough strenght to do so. Her shoulders bounced up and down as she cried her heart out, hating the fact her life seemed so messed in that moment. Hanbin walked foward, kneeling in front of her; his warm hands landed on hers and gently pulled them, asking her to pay some attention to him. She didn't know why but she did look at him, sniffing quietly.

''It's okay, you can cry all you want, just don't hide the tears away from me. I'm here with you, we'll get through this together, hmm?'' she didn't seem so sure of his words. Her boyfriend never really seemed to take her as a safe place he could come to whenever he wasn't feeling well. He didn't share his feelings to her and she was afraid to share hers with him, not because she didn't trust him but because maybe it was exposing her way too much. The female bit her lip and looked down, hearing her boyfriend sigh quietly. ''Can you look at me for a second?'' he asked her, frowning as she refused to look at him. ''Baby, please look at me.'' he asked once again, but she still didn't comply to his request. 

He let go of her hands and got up, sighing. The female felt another batch of tears roll down her cheeks as she thought he was going to leave her even if she didn't tell him she wanted him there, she didn't want him to go away. He was her support even if she didn't mean as much to him. All of this crashed into her mind, making her thoughts go harder on her; she just wanted to be at ease with all of this, if possible.

The female was surprised when she noticed that he only sat by her side; his knees were hurting from standing there in front of her on the stairs. His hands swiped under her legs and pulled them over his so she'd turn her body, the slightest, to his. ''Listen to me, love.'' he started, taking one of her hands as he knew that even the smallest touch was comforting; he did come to her when he was hurt, tired and broken down. Having her in his arms helped him a lot, even if he only stood there quiet, thinking to himself. Having her was enough for him to calm down. Even if they shared no words, the warmth of her body would flow through his and calm him down. ''I hate seeing you like this, baby.'' he whispered quietly, managing to cup one of her cheeks and make her look at him. ''Do you want to talk?''

The female shook her head slowly; she wanted to be as strong as he is. ''Alright then.'' he sighed, wiping away her tears from her features ''I'll be here with you then, cry all you want. If you want to speak, I'll listen as well.'' he told her, reaching for another tear that rolled down her features, brightening her skin as it left a trail behind. 

Both kept quiet, occasionaly a snif would be heard from the female who released them while her mind tried to organize her thoughts. Hanbin's eyes never really left her features. It was almost entertaining for him the way the female looked; even though she was crying, she still looked beautiful in his eyes. Once he was done wiping away her tears, he reached for her free hand and took it in his, pulling both her hands up to his lips, kissing them before letting to of them. The female frowned at the loss of touch but before she could even think of it, he pulled her into his lap and wrapped his arms around her.

His nose nuzzled her neck while his lips were busy placing gentle kisses over her skin, either on her colarbone or simply over her neck. That forced a quiet chuckle of the female's lips, which brought a gentle smile to the male's lips. His eyes looked up at her who was now looking at him as well. His smile made her heart beat faster, even bringing some tears to her eyes and she wasn't even sure why. ''Everything will be fine, I can promise you that.'' he whispered to her, pecking her nose before he poked it with his own, watching the female nod her head as she closed her eyes, forcing the tears to leave it's safe place and roll down her cheeks.

Once again, his hands reached for the tears and wiped them away, painting with transparent ink, her skin that looked brighter now. It took her at least ten other minutes to get a word out, which was his name (it was one of those moments when people simply didn't feel like speaking, either because the words didn't fit the occasion or simply because words were too bothersome). ''Hanbin.'' she whispered, her voice was rough from the crying. His eyes that didn't leave her features, were waiting for hers to open so she knew he was paying attention to her. ''Thank you.'' she continued, crying those words out as she felt like crying once again. The male smiled, bringing her into a tight hug.

''You don't need to thank me, baby. You do the same for me. You're my safe place.'' he whispered to her, distributing gentle pecks over her head that seemed so overloaded with thoughts. Her arms wrapped around him tightly, finally giving in and letting him know that she needed him more than he thought. He was glad to know that. ''I love you, very much.'' he told her, just to remind her that she wasn't alone on it. It hurt now because her head was messed but soon, it'd be just a memory she could write from, a picture she could get inspiration from. 

''I love you too'' she sighed as she managed to calm down once again. ''I know.'' he answered her, pulling back slowly to see her, once again wiping away her tears that he accused as bad decoration. It brought a soft smile up to her lips, the way he treated her when both were busy with work, work, work and more work. His hands cupped her cheeks as he leaned closer, placing a gentle kiss over her lips, to which she answered, with another peck on his lips. 

''Feeling better?'' he asked her, sighing quietly as he knew that she was indeed feeling better. She nodded slowly but she knew that she didn't want to go back to where she was, it'd only make her more frustrated. His hand combed some of her hair, getting it off her features as if it was actually bothering him and keeping him from seeing her. ''I suggest you and I take the rest of the day off and go home, to rest.'' he spoke to her, making her frown at the amount of work she'd have to take care of the next day. ''I'm not taking no as answer.'' he informed, showing a brighter smile this time as he left her with no other option. The female nodded slowly, leaning on his chest as she found the position comfortable, like she was a huge baby on her boyfriend's arms. Her ear was able to listen to his heartbeat that calmed her. ''Let's stay just a bit longer like this.'' she asked, closing her eyes; Hanbin smiled ''For as long as you want.''
