Jinhwan. Kim Jinhwan.  That name sounded so soft in the female's brain. He seemed to drag attention wherever he went, especially from the female population. His short height was actually charming for many. "Why Jinhwan?" her brother suddenly interrupted her thoughts and the image of her boyfriend faded away from her mind. Her eyes were on the mirror still. But not for long.

"It's for you." the male shouted from the front door. He faced the shorter male, asking himself why his sister had picked Jinhwan over the other guys she was presented to. Jinhwan showed a soft shy smile to the guy standing in front of him.

The female calmly made her way downstairs but, wearing a dress that, according to Jinhwan, was a slight sparkle over the value of her smile, which she decided to wear around Jinhwan the most. Her brother stated at the female. Was she the same Hyejin he had seen dressing up in the room? Probably not. The way he looked at her was enough to make him realize it.

The second she stood in front of her boyfriend, his hand took hers and squeezed it gently. Her brother kept watching; that didn't intimidate her boyfriend. "shall we?" she nodded, just to step out and calmly head out to the car that was parked by her door, waiting for them.

During the all ride, his hand was on hers. He cared about her and he knew that the smallest actions meant a lot, not only for her but also for himself.

Upon arriving the place, Jinhwan parked the car. The place was unknown to the female. She found the scenario pleasing. There was nobody around and the bright moonlight was their only light but that was enough.

"The moon looks the same" Jinhwan whispered, reminding the female about the day he asked her to be his. He knew perfectly well how both of them enjoyed the silence and how they were biased towards actions more than words. That was one kid the reasons why she liked the male so much. Other people might misunderstanding their dates as meaningless outings bit for them,  each second was like a treasure. A treasure they kept inside a memory box they would gladly open someday to remember the wonderful time they spent together.

His hands softly massaged the female's. Once they were comfortable enough, he made sure to brush the ring he was wearing against her skin. Her eyes shifted their gaze to meet the cold metal, as he was expecting. "It's a promise ring."  he informed, shifting slightly on his seat so his weight would transfer to his right leg and that was just enough to reach for his pocket and slip the ring on her finger. A smile ripped her lips, claiming its' rightful place.

"My lady." by now, he had exited the car;  currently his hand was held out for her. She gladly took it and stood up, exiting the car as well. The male pulled close on propose, resting his lips on hers for a brief second. Her lips curved into a soft smile; the night weather was alright, it was perfect placed for their date. The wind blew gently through the beautifully natural landscape. Jinhwan's choice never really disappointed his girlfriend.

They walked for about five minutes just to arrive a perfectly neat place; a picnic was waiting for them. On the picnic towel there was a medium sized blue box. The female eyed it and tilted her head slightly, wondering. What was inside it.

For a second, the female stopped and took a look at her boyfriend. "Did you set this up?" Jinhwan laughed and pulled the female to the table "Probably."  he answered.

They sat down on the towel. The female kept her mind divided between the ring he had just gave her and the box. Jinhwan was sure she was curious about it; that made him feel pretty satisfied over that simple fact.

Hyejin jumped out of surprise when she heard barking. She looked around, her eyes widen. Just like Jinhwan, she thought big dogs were scary. Her boyfriend laughed and shook his head "Baby" he called calmly. She turned to look at him, fear could be read in her expression, which caused the male to laugh quietly. How could he be so calm in a situation like this?

The box got her attention once again, when it dropped to the side and revealed a little puppy. Hyejin stared at it for a few seconds before gasping and taking the small creature in her arms. "You're so cute" the words ran out of as she petted the puppy. Jinhwan proudly smiled at the sight;  he knew this was the right present for the female.

"Thank you" she managed to say as she played with the puppy. Jinhwan knew she always wanted to have a puppy, but she never really found time to get one. He decided to get one himself and she was glad he decided to get her one because in that moment, she couldn't be any happier than she was.

She was so busy playing with her new pet that she didn't even notice the male had sat behind her. Only when he wrapped his arms around her waist, she was aware of his presence. She understood her boyfriend wanted attention too but she didn't say anything. Instead, she leaned into him as the puppy waggled her tail around.

"Did you name her already?" she asked, looking up at the male who shook his head. "I thought you'd like to name her instead." Hyejin smiled, leaning up just enough to peck his lips.

"I like Ji." "Ji?" he asked confused, looking at the puppy who had calmed down. "It's simple. Plus, Jin sounds like a guy name so Ji is better" she calmly explained before shrugging her shoulders softly. Jinhwan didn't say anything else. She was right.

He pulled her closer to him, smiling at how the puppy accepted his lover so easily. And himself too. It only meant the puppy liked them. Which was great. He just wasn't sure if her brother would find the puppy a bad thing. Either way, it belonged to his girlfriend.

Hyejin kept her attention focused on the puppy on her lap. She really liked puppies; what was wrong with it anyways? Nothing. She had noticed her new pet had fallen asleep from all the careful pets she had shared with her.

"Thank you, again." She whispered in order to let the puppy sleep. The male shook his head, telling her she didn't need to thank him for it. He himself wanted a puppy and that was a good opportunity to take care of one.

Later on that night, after their dinner, Jinhwan took Hyejin home. Her brother was waiting as always by the loving room, watching a random movie he wasn't even paying attention to it.

Once he heard a car pull over, he walked over to the door and waited for his sister's keys sound.

She calmly, like always, stepped out of his car but this time. She was holding onto a living creature her brother didn't recognize at all. He tilted his head slightly just to notice it was a puppy. He looked away once his sister shared a passionate kiss with her boyfriend,  probably their own way to say goodbye.

Finally, the female opened the door and came in. She was expecting her brother to be standing near the door just like he was. She couldn't help but roll her eyes; he would always want for her and spy on her when she bid goodbye to her lover.  This time wasn't different.

She was heading to her room with her puppy when she stopped and turned around to face her brother  "Because out of everything else he does, he cares. He cares for me and for everything that concerns me." she commented, answering the question her brother asked before she left for her date.

Triumphant, the female climbed the stairs towards her room. She closed the door after going in and finally set down the puppy, her little source of happiness, just to hear her phone. The female picked it up and smiled softly at the sight "Goodnight baby, I love you" she read outloud, turning to the puppy "Isn't your father lovely?"
