Her eyes widened as soon as Jiwon said those words. Much to her surprise, he smiled at her, he wasn't mad over the fact she confessed her feelings for Hanbin right before him. "Let me take you home." he calmly asked, having Nira nodding her head firmly. They walked side by side but this was not like any other day. For some reason, Jiwon looked happier. She was confused since they both knew that their relationship had come to an end and they didn't even need to argue to dot their story.
"Until Hanbin admits it, what are you going to do?" he asked as they arrived her house. The female held onto the gate, looking down at her feet as she had absolute no idea of how to answer the question her ex just asked her. She was transparent to him so probably he knew she had no clue of how it would be. "Maybe it would be better if we didn't see each other. He has a girlfriend now anyways so I don't need to come into that." "He certainly doesn't want you away from him and I can tell you that their relationship ended before it even started." Nira held onto the gate tighter as she thought of what Jiwon like was saying. The kiss scene kept replaying in her head just like a drama. She was happy but at the same time confused about it. How could Hanbin be so calm about this?
She couldn't deny the fact that she missed him and that made her hate herself, for being so dumb and being wrapped around Hanbin's finger like he was the source of her oxygen. He wasn't and she was tired of it. Her forehead crashed against the cold green gate gently as if she needed some support for her head which was full of heavy thoughts. "I know you two still have a lot to say to each other. You guys didn't mean it when you fought, much less when you two broke up. Hanbin is just as desperate as you are, it's so obvious that he actually couldn't get a hold on himself today, right?" Nari turned her head slightly, looking at Jiwon. How did he know about this? "Your lip gloss was on his lips and pretty much all over your chin..." he answered the question she didn't get to ask. 10 points for him for noticing the smallest details.
Her dark brown eyes focused on the ground. She had no idea of what to do nor think in that moment as she was now aware of the situation she was in with Hanbin. "You knew about this." she concluded just to have Jiwon nod slightly. That lead her to think that not only had she been fooling herself with her fake feelings for him but also he faked everything for her. The female pulled away from the gate and quietly stared at the male by her side. "You can't actually get over someone you don't want to forget." Jiwon commented, as if defending himself from her glare.
After their conversation, the female felt a little more relieved and actually happy that she didn't need to think over hurting her ex's feelings anymore. Less one thing to worry about. But for some reason, Jiwon's words kept playing in her mind; Hanbin knew their relationship was over the moment he started as he himself, couldn't control his actions when he was with Nira. And she came to conclude Jiwon was right. She just hoped he would realize that since she had no idea of how to face him anymore.
That same night, her phone light up and the female's curiosity was awake. Her eyes noticed something she hadn't been aware of. A small heart was right after Hanbin's name. She didn't even delete that small memory from her phone, probably because it wasn't worth deleting from her life. Pushing aside this thought, she came across the reality; Hanbin was calling her.
Nira picked up the phone but she didn't speak, she waited for the male to speak. "I wanted to hear your voice." he said, causing a soft smile to crawl over the female's lips. "And it's pretty cold outside, mind opening the door?" Nira rolled her eyes; Hanbin still hadn't changed his habits. Back when they were dating, he would find an excuse to spend some more time with her and this was a great way to do it.
Nira made her way downstairs and opened the door to find Hanbin. Her lips were back to their normal position, pressed together into a line. The male looked at her calmly, rubbing his nape as his feet made their way to her. The female stood still until he was standing in front of her; she was looking up as she was a few inches shorter than him but even though the male was looking down at her in this moment, he always had looked up to her. He always cared and now, he was aware of that. "Aren't you going to invite me in? It's cold out here." ""You know I always liked winter the most." she answered back, forcing a smile into the male's lips. "You still didn't change." she kept quiet as her eyes watched his every move.
Hanbin took a few minutes to start speaking again. He decided to admire the female's features just in case anything would go wrong. "We need to talk." "I agree." "Let's be honest then. I want you back." Jiwon knew about this and Nira was aware of this as well; she wanted him back too but something was on the way. "I want you back too." her insecure self was already asking tons of questions inside her head, especially about the other female but Hanbin had asked her to be honest with him and she couldn't be more honest than this. She missed him, his hugs, his voice, his kisses... Everything. The thriller ran through her body at the thought of what happened back in the restaurant. She couldn't help it. "You didn't change either..." she spoke before forcing her legs to walk forward. "This is the part where you kiss me." she continued only to have the male lean down to capture her lips. Without pulling away, he mumbled against her lips "If I changed, would we be here, like this, in this moment?" but she gave him no answer. Instead, her arms wrapped around his neck while his hands landed on her waist, just to have no gaps between them while they shared a passionate kiss.
When they pulled away, Hanbin smiled "Now I remember why you like winter so much." his arms wrapped around her, having the opportunity to bet her back. His mind now only thought about having the female to himself again and get away from all the drama as his brain only though about how he could have listened to her instead of breaking off their relationship like he did. But it didn't matter. Not in that specific moment.
