Chapter 9 : Rescued
Your POV:
"Uh, what is it?" I asked surprised when an ajusshi took hold of my wrist.
He didn't say anything.
"You should go home before it starts to rain." I said.
He pushed me down.
My eyes were wide with shock.
He pinned me down and looked at me with lust filled eyes.
"Let me go! Someone help!" I cried but nobody was out anymore due to the bad weather.
It started to pour and his hand started to roam my body.
I continued to kick and scream, my groceries long forgotten.
He ripped off my shirt first so I had nothing on except for my bra on my upper body.
"Shut up and stay still!" He yelled getting annoyed.
I whimpered quietly and added tears to the rain.
The ajusshi took off his own shirt and leaned in to kiss me but I turned and instead he kissed my cheek.
His grubby hand traveled down my chest, my stomach to my croutch.
I shook in grief, disgust and terror.
I tried to free myself again. and screamed the loadest scream I had ever done before.
He had taken my pants off and was busy fumbling with his.
I was feeling so weak and was ready to give up. I felt like dying.
I tried to ready myself for what was to come, but suddenly he wasn't on top of me anymore.
I heard yelling and flesh hitting flesh.
I didn't care. I was free and booked it.
I didn't make it too far because I was weak and sick.
I hid behind a brick wall and hugged my knees to myself.
The rain was coming down harder and the wind was so cold....
Somebody approached me and I started shaking in fear.
My vision was blurry so I rubbed my eyes.
I started crying in reilef at the person I saw.
He went beside me.
"Y-yoseob..." I said.
He was soaking wet and he looked at me in worry.
He lightly brushed his hand over my hair.
"Are you okay? You're safe now, you don't need to be scared anymore." Yoseob said softly and hugging me.
He then seemed to realize I was only in my underwear.
He started taking off his shirt.
"W-what are you doing?" I asked becoming afraid again.
He didn't say anything and put his shirt over me, covering most of my petite body.
After Yoseob picked my up bridal style and started taking me back.
His whole upper body was now bare.
I couldn't think all to well and began to loose focus of everything.
"What happened?" I heard Mir say.
I tried to make Yoseob let me down.
When he did I tried walking to Oppa. I was too weak and got caught by Yoseob.
I saw the blurry figures of Luna, Sungjong and Minwoo.
"Mir, I really want to sleep.." I croaked.
I was carried again and brought into our room.
Oppa pulled off Yoseob's shirt and brought me a towel.
I dried myself the best I could and changed into dry clothes with the help of Mir.
He then lied me down and piled a thick blanket over me.
He also checked my temperature.
"Mianhae....Oppa..."
"Shh, sleep now, everything will be all right after resting." He said soothingly.
I did as he told and as my body wanted and fell into a much needed rest.
Yoseob's POV:
Mir took _____ into their room and told them not to bother them for a while.
They all tried seeing her, but Mir wouldn't allow them to.
They went into the boys' room and sat quietly wondering what happened and what condition _____ was in.
Yoseob remembered that he was soaking wet with no shirt on and went into the bathroom to change.
When he came back out Yoseob just lied in his bed and went deep into thought.
"Hyung....what happened to Noona?" Minwoo asked sounding helpless and sad.
He sighed wondering if he should tell them or not.
They were all looking at him for an answer.
"I found her in the park...and it looked like that she went shopping. There was an ajusshi..." He trailed off knowing that they understood the situation.
By now the storm started clearing up.
The silence was so heavy and filled with worry.
Some time later, Mir came in.
They were all eager to see him.
"How is she?" Luna asked.
"She has a fever." Mir answered simply.
"Let us go see _____." Yoseob said sitting up.
"No, she's sleeping and needs to get better. You want her to get better right?"
"Let us visit her when she is awake then."
"No, didn't you hear me? She needs to get better." Mir said firmly.
"Anyway, I didn't leave _____'s side to argue with you. Tell me what happened."
"I'll tell you the details. Outside."
"She was in the park and it seemed that she went shopping for food. There was an ajusshi and he was on top of her. After I freed her, she ran away, but she was weak and didn't go far. I beat up the guy then got _____. When I was carrying her back, the ajusshi was gone with the rest of the money she had and the things she bought. I gave her my shirt to cover her up." Yoseob explained after going outside.
He didn't know that Luna, Minwoo and Sungjong were listening to him by the door.
Mir nodded and returned to his post beside _____.
Yoseob returned inside and him and the others anxiously waited and wonder what was going to happen for the rest of the time spent there.
Your POV:
When I woke up my head and body ached.
I sat up and remembered everything.
Yoseob....saved me...
"_____, you're awake. How are you feeling?" Mir asked seeing me awake.
"I'm fine. Where is Yoseob and the others?" I asked hastily removing the wet towel on my forehead and blanket on my body.
"Hey, hey, you're still sick. Don't worry about them and just focus on getting better." He lied me back down.
"Tell Yoseob to come. I want to see him." I pleaded.
"No way, just rest some more."
I waited until Mir went into the bathroom to sneak out.
I still wasn't feeling the best, but I was a lot better.
First I went to find Yoseob in his room.
I just barged in and I found him by himself sitting on his bed.
He stood up when I came in.
I froze forgetting why I had come.
"Yah, what are you doing here. You should be resting." He said.
"Where is...?" I started.
"Them? They went to go get dinner. Together. So they wouldn't get a fever and almost get rap-"
I cut him off. I hugged him tightly.
"T-thank you." I said softly.
To my surprise, he returned my hug.
"You should go back and rest now." Yoseob said looking at the door.
Mir was standing in the doorway.
For some reason I didn't want to leave, but I didn't want my condition to worsen so I let go and went to Mir.
For the first time I smiled at him. A sort of weak and lopsided one, but a genuine smile.
Later, I managed to convince Oppa to let me eat dinner with everyone, but I had to stay inside of our room.
"_____-ah how are you feeling?" Luna poked her head through the door followed by Sungjong's and Minwoo's.
"Oh my gosh you guys." I felt like crying.
I was hugged by them.
Without knowing, I shed some tears.
"Oh, come on now. No crying." Sungjong said wiping them away.
"I'm really sorry."
"It's okay. Just get better, okay?" He brushed my hair behind my ear.
I nodded.
Outside, Yoseob and Mir were cooking meat on a portable grill.
"I'm so hungry." I muttered to myself.
I waited with Luna, Sungjong and Minwoo for dinner.
They kept fussing over me and made sure that I was comfortable and telling me to lie down until dinner was done.
Mir fed me my dinner by hand as if I couldn't do it myself.
"Get well soon." Yoseob said and awkwardly placed his hand over mine after dinner.
I nodded.
Minwoo and Sungjong hugged me goodbye and Luna left me by asking me to borrow my CD player.
I just laughed and lent it to her.
"Sleep well." They said.
"Ne."
"Okay, _____ you should rest now." Mir said after they left.
I lied down obediently and shut my eyes.
What happened in the park replayed in my head.
I wanted to cry just thinking of what happened.
Yoseob came to save me and I was very thankful of that.
Maybe he wasn't that bad after all.
My heart started to beat hard to the point I wondered if there was something wrong.
I tried to make it stop, but I couldn't.
I just tried to sleep and make it go away like that.
Shush, my heart. Just go to sleep. Why are you like this? I said to it mentally.
The effects of my fever were starting to came back.
Eventually I lost consciousness and my heart finally slowed down and went to a steady rhythm.
