Chapter 8 : Picnic, Hiking and A Missing Person?
Your POV:
At around dinner time, we headed back to our rooms and changed.
We took turns showering.
Mir said that we would make samgyupsul over a fire on the beach.
So, after everyone had washed up, we took some chairs and the supplies we needed down to the beach again.
We gathered wood and brought it to the spot we picked to use as our fire pit.
"Oppa, when will it be ready, I'm really hungry." I whined clutching my grumbling stomach.
I felt something soft and sweet pop into my mouth.
"Eat this." Sungjong said from beside me.
It was a marshmallow.
"Thank you~" I said.
"I'm really tired." Luna said lying back in her chair.
"Me too, I just want to sleep here." I agreed.
"Here, Noona, put this on so that you can be warm." Minwoo came up and put him blanket over my shoulders.
Yoseob was watching me.
"Gomawo, Minnie. I'm very warm now." I said letting the blanket and fire warm me up.
I sat quietly and watched the glow of the fire and listened to the samgyupsul roasting.
It was calming.
Everyone was quiet and tired out from today.
Yoseob had started to help grill the meat to speed up the cooking.
"Here, _____, try this." Mir said holding a piece of meat in wooden chopsticks.
He transferred the chopsticks to Yoseob who was closer to me and fed me it.
"Oppa, this just makes me want to eat even more!" I said enjoying it's delicious taste.
"But it's good right?"
I nodded.
"Okay, then we just have to serve it then."
After eating every last piece of meat, we started roasting marshmallows and making s'mores.
I started to get sleepy and kept almost falling asleep more then once.
I decided to go to sleep early.
"I'm gonna go to sleep now." I said standing up.
I started folding up the chair I was sitting on.
"I'll go with you." Yoseob said suddenly shooting up.
"I'm tired too."
"Good night everybody." I said.
Yoseob and I walked together back to our rooms.
Surprisingly he took the chair I was carrying from me.
"What are you doing?" I asked when Yoseob was about to go into my room with me.
"Why? Can't I come in?"
"No." I said.
"I should wait until you fall asleep then I will leave." He said.
"Fine, whatever. Just don't do anything weird." I said.
"Why do you want me to?"
"You are unbelievable."
I washed up and slipped into bed.
"I can't sleep if you keep staring at me like that." I said uncomfortable under his gaze.
"Fine then. I'll just lay down with you." He smirked and climbed in beside me.
"Why are you so erted?" I asked covering him with Minwoo's blanket and moving toward the wall.
He just moved closer almost touching me.
"_____ lets just sleep here..." Yoseob said as if he were half asleep.
He grabbed me and pulled me into his arms.
For a second I didn't know what to do.
"Let me go."
"I don't want to~" Yoseob said with his eyes closed.
I forced him to let go. I took Minwoo's blanket and left him inside Oppa's and my room.
I sent a text to Minwoo then to Mir.
To Minwoo:
Minnie, can I sleep with you tonight? Come right now. I don't want to be alone with Yoseob.
To Oppa:
Oppa, can I sleep with Minwoo tonight?
They returned my text.
To _____:
I'm coming right now. Wait for me in our room. What did Yoseob hyung do?, Minwoo
To_____:
Yes, go ahead. Just make sure he doesn't do anything, Mir
I decided to tell Minwoo after he came back.
I opened the door to the boy's room and waited on Minwoo's bed.
He came really quickly.
Right away he came and hugged me from behind.
"What did he do?" He asked with a worried voice.
"I don't know, but he was acting weird and making me uncomfortable." I said happy that Minwoo came quickly.
"Where is he?"
"In my room."
"He didn't do anything right?"
"He didn't."
"It's okay now. You're tired right? Sleep. I'll be right here." He said soothingly.
I used his arm as a pillow and he held me close.
It was a lot different then being in Yoseob's arms.
I let him lull me to sleep and snuggled closer.
For the second time that day, I fell asleep in Minwoo's arms.
Yoseob's POV:
Yoseob was shocked.
Why had he done that? He was surprised at himself.
He was still lying in Mir's and _____'s bed.
He went to go look for her and say sorry, but he didn't know where she went.
Yoseob checked around and still couldn't find her.
He sighed and decided to go to bed for real.
He opened their room's door and lifted his head.
_____ was sleeping with Minwoo. Again.
Minwoo saw me come in.
"What did you do." He hissed.
"Is that any of your business?' Yoseob snapped at him trying not to wake up _____.
"What are you two doing here anyway?
"She sent me a text saying that she wanted me to stay with her instead of you."His eyes narrowed.
"You know you are nothing right? Just a little boy who knows nothing?" Yoseob spat.
"And who is the girl with?"
He said nothing and glared at him.
He couldn't do anything, so in fury he went into the washroom and didn't come out until he knew that Minwoo had fallen asleep as well.
Who cares anyway, he thought, it's just a stupid girl.
Your POV:
I woke up feeling refreshed and warm.
Minwoo was hugging me tightly.
I remembered that I had slept in the boys' room last night.
"Ack!"
Yoseob was also sleeping right beside me.
Minwoo was so cute when he slept and Yoseob was...a lot more appealing in this state.
Just then Yoseob woke up and looked at me with sleepy eyes.
He calmly and quietly got up and went into the bathroom.
As if nothing happened the night before.
I decided not to care as well and go back to sleep.
Later, Minwoo was calling me.
"Noona, wake up~" He cooed.
I slowly opened my eyes and found myself face to face with him.
"Morning, Minnie~"
I sat up and yawned.
The time on my cellphone told me that it was 10:24am.
"I'm gonna go change, okay? Thank you for letting me sleep here." I said stretching.
"Okay. I'll see you later."
I took my stuff and went back to my room.
Mir and Sungjong were still asleep.
I grabbed what I needed and went to the bathroom to wash up.
I decided to wake up the two.
"Sungjongie~ Wake up." I shook his shoulder.
I lied on my stomach and faced them.
"Oppa and Sungie wake up~"
I waited for a minute.
I kept trying to wake them up, but they made me resort to my second last idea.
I went in between them and smiled.
"Yah! Lee Sungjong! Mir Oppa! WAKE UP!!!" I yelled.
They woke up in shock. Mir hit his head on the wall and Sungjong fell off of the bed.
"Good Morning!" I smiled. My last Idea was to pour cold water all over them.
They looked at me with a strange expression.
They nodded to each other took the pillows and started hitting me with them.
"Yah!"
They swung their pillows at me and made me hit the wall.
I crouched down and and clutched my head in my hands.
"_____, are you okay?" Mir asked with worry in his voice.
"We're sorry."
They came close and Mir started rubbing my back.
I surprised them by jumping on both of them making them fall on their backs.
I lied across their stomachs.
"I win~" I said smiling at my success in fooling them.
I knew that they could easily lift me off of them, but they stayed there in defeat.
Mir poked my side and started tickling me.
"W-wait. I'm g-gonna go w-wake u-up Luna!" I said between laughs.
"Okay, okay, we'll see you later." Mir said rubbing my head and kissing me on the forehead.
I knocked on Luna's door.
When there was no answer, I quietly entered.
This time I took out out my portable CD player and put the headphones over her ears.
I played SHINee's Japanese version of Juliette.
Her eyes fluttered open and she just stayed there and finished listening to it.
"I want to listen to it again. I wish I could always wake up to SHINee." She said groggily pressing play again.
"Get up. Oppa said that we would go for a picnic for lunch." I took back my CD player and headphones.
"Okay, I'll be out later." Luna said as I left.
I went back to our room and started packing for the picnic.
About forty-five minutes later everyone was ready and we walked to a park near the resort.
Mir and I set up the blanket and took out our lunch.
We had pre-made sandwiches.
After we played in the park. There was a playground and we played there too.
After eating lunch in the park, we went hiking.
The was supposed to be a beautiful cafe there for people who made it all the way to the top.
We changed according to the activity and started our climb.
We only stopped only once halfway there.
Everyone was really strong and had a lot of stamina so there wasn't a lot of trouble.
We sat off to the side and took swigs of our water bottles.
Minwoo seemed to sweat a lot.
I took out a tissue and started wiping it off of his face.
"Thank you, Noona." He said.
We sat for another five or ten minutes then got going again.
About an hour later, we had reached the top.
We tiredly walked to the cafe.
There was a building that you could sit inside or you could sit outside in a beautiful flourishing garden.
For completing the hike, we were served free dessert.
I ate my piece of cheesecake. It was so good.
I also had hot chocolate with whip cream.
Mir was lying on the grass with his eyes closed.
Luna and I were sitting together at one of the outdoor tables.
Yoseob was also sitting at one of the other tables and Minwoo and Sungjong were sitting on the ground.
I stretched. "Ahh, that felt good."
"The free dessert or the hike?" Sungjong asked chuckling.
"Both!" I smiled.
"What are we going to do next, Mir?" Luna asked.
"Sleep..." He mumbled in response.
We giggled at him. I went over to him.
"Oppa, say ahh." I said crouching over him.
"Ahh..." He opened his mouth lazily.
I popped a candy into his mouth.
He ate it and pulled me down beside him.
"_____ let's sleep here." He said.
"Let's go back down and take a nap then." I said.
"I don't want to~" Mir whined like a kid.
I gave him another candy.
"Okay, kids, lets go back down!"
"Yes." We said.
After another who knows how long to walk back down, it was about 4:30.
We all collapsed onto our beds and slept.
I had woken up earlier then the others and couldn't fall asleep again, so I decided that I would go to a nearby store and pick up some dinner before they woke up.
There was a town nearby the resort, but I had to through the park.
I walked with leisure and enjoyed the surroundings.
There were dark clouds in the sky that were unusual to the current weather.
I decided not waste time just in case the weather turned bad.
I walked into town and went into a store.
After buying everything, I found that the dark clouds now completely covered the sky.
I hurried back to the park.
There wasn't as many people around anymore.
I felt a rain drop on my hand and walked faster.
Yoseob's POV:
Yoseob woke up from hearing a knock on the door.
He got up and opened the door, scratching his head.
"Is _____ here?" Mir asked.
"No, why?" He asked.
"I can't find her anywhere." Mir replied starting to panic.
"Maybe she just went for a walk. She'll come back soon." Yoseob said.
"Noona's missing?" Minwoo woke up.
"We'll wait for her first then if she doesn't come back, then we will go and look for her all right?" He said.
Mir nodded in worry and went back into their room.
Yoseob picked up his cellphone and tried calling _____.
There was no answer.
Mir's POV:
In Mir's and _____'s room, Mir heard _____ cellphone's ringtone.
He found her cellphone underneath the blanket and cursed.
Looking outside he saw dark clouds warning an oncoming storm.
He couldn't wait any longer and told everyone that he was going to go look for her around the resort.
There had better be nothing that happened to you, _____, he thought.
