It started out with something small, in the beginning I never really thought much of it, and it wasn’t until now that I found that small something was the start. Minho smiles at me as he pats my hand comfortingly. “What are you thinking about Mia?” He asks leaning closer to me.

“The start of all this, the moment that lead up to you proposing, me saying yes, the wedding, and now to starting our family.” I say leaning against my husband. “It really is remarkable how a little misunderstanding brought us to this point of time.”

“It wasn’t little.” Minho argues, as he always has. “I thought Hyunwoo was confessing to you knowing already that I liked you.” He says nudging me.

I smile at him chuckling. “You make such a big deal out of us practicing for the drama I was filming, it was a small misunderstanding.” I argue back. “Though, I’m glad it happened, got you to man up really fast.” I say giggling.

Minho chuckles while kissing the top of my head, that had been ten years ago now. “In the big scheme of things I suppose I could let that go as a small mix-up.” He jokes kissing the top of my head. “How’s Minmi doing?” He asks as his hand drifts to the front of my stomach.

“She is as active as ever.” I murmur as she kicks again, much like she always seems to be doing. “We’ll definitely have to put her in soccer.” I say smiling at Minho.

“Not if she’s clumsy like I a certain women I know.” He says taking my hand in his before I can hit. “I can’t wait.”

 “Me too, I want to drink again!” I say throwing my other arm up, mostly joking of course. “Do not patronize me.” I say rolling my eyes.

“No, no. I just had no idea I married an alcoholic.” He says in a very mocking tone. “Whoa, hey no need to kick.” He mutters rubbing the side of his leg. “She probably got that from you.”

Laughing I shake my head at him. “Obviously from the sport genes that you gave her.” I say sticking my tongue out at him.

“Careful, that’s how Minmi got started.” He says slyly.

Laughing I cover my mouth. “No, you’re right. I wouldn’t want that.” I say jokingly again as Minho rolls his eyes at me. “You can do that all you want, but I don’t see you pushing a baby out of you.” I say chuckling as I lower my hands to cradle the bundle of joy currently taking residence in my body. “In just another month we’ll be holding her for the first time.”

“Soon after we’ll be taking her home.” Minho adds wrapping an arm around me. “That little mix-up really was the start.” He says affectionately. “We’ve done a lot of things since though.”

“And many more to do still.” I say happily. “Like that trip to a warm tropical island once Minmi gets older and she as a little brother or sister.” I say wishfully.

“Ride gondolas in Venice on our twentieth anniversary.” He adds happily. “And just for you visit vineyards in Tuscany too.”

“That sounds like a capital idea; I hope we’re saving up for this trip.” I say giggling happily. “Though I’d be happy with a cheap bottle as long as I was with you; though the good stuff is preferred.” I joke as he kisses my cheek.

“Well I suppose we should start a fund for that, our trip to Italy.” He chuckles nuzzling my neck.

Small things are important, they start a lot of things for us and connect people to our lives like we never thought possible. I was just a rookie actress asking for advice on my first leading role when Minho walked up and shove Hyunwoo out of his way and firmly confessed to me. Back then I never would have thought I’d end up getting married to the guy, but I’m happy and about to have everything I’ve ever wanted.

It'll be kinda weird for me not to have anything for SHINee that I'm writing
So I'm considering one of the comments that I read.
It was a very interesting idea, and I think a lot of you would like it.
I'm considering writing on for the Reasons to Smile
Do longer chapters, in batches still, but I'm not sure yet.
