Watching my phone buzz on the table I roll my eyes. ‘Again’, Onew really? How much trouble can one possibly get into? I mean I can only do so much. You’re lost, you’re confused, trapped in a store by fans…AISH. A pain, a cute, sweet, and charming pain in the neck. I wish he’d stop calling me to help him out of weird situations he gets into, I’d rather him just call me to sit and talk maybe go out on a date.

“Yeboseyo?”

I hear a muffled hello. “Axelle?”

“Deh Onew?” I ask finding myself smiling. “Do you need me?”

“Aniyo.” He says slowly. “Well yes.”

“For?” I ask confused, by now he’d tell me where he was and what he needed me for. “Is something wrong?”

“I’m just nervous is all, Axelle.”

“Yes?” I ask him quietly. “Onew?”

Sighing Onew finally replies. “I’d just like to ask you something, can you meet me in the park where we first met?”

Furrowing my brows I answer quickly. “Of course.”

Hanging up I look over at the clock, park in an hour…

It really doesn’t matter what Onew needs, or asks I’ll do it; I’d do it without question for him, to be closer to him for those few moments. To have him call out to me and want to be near me…You clumsy cutie-pie I’ve gone and fallen for you. I think to myself as I head over to the park twenty minutes early.

Arriving I see Onew sitting there already, looking like he’s staring down at the ground. “Onew?” I call walking over to him, “Are you alright?” I ask him hesitantly.

Smiling at me he pats for me to sit next to him. “I’m fine; I told you already, I’m nervous.”

Comply I stare over at him, slightly frightened, he’s serious, so whatever it is he has to say is important. Waiting I look over at the tree.

Just three weeks ago I saved him from a mob of fans, grabbing his arm and pulling him out of them all, yanking him loose, and running away while holding his hand, making sure that he doesn’t fall finally releasing him a few blocks away on a deserted street.

“I wanted to ask you something.” Onew starts pulling me out of the fond memory I have, the moment I’m thankful that I decided to act on impulse , to pull him away and away.

“I’m all ears.” I whisper looking over at him. “Onew?”

“I like you.” Onew bursts out, “I’d like to take you out on a date.” He says turning red.

Smiling at him I poke his arm lightly. “You know I like you.” I whisper.

“Is that a ‘yes’?” Onew asks looking up, the look on his face making me smile and nod my head.

“I don’t think I could tell you no.” I admit to him smiling.
