Seeing them together her and now I let out a deep breath, I’d made the right choice. Shira needed someone else. When you love someone so much, but then you see just how much they need to more on to something newer, something better…I had to let go. I just knew it. Shira couldn’t stay with me forever, even if that’s what I want.

“I guess last time really was goodbye.” I mumble watching her and Jonghyun stroll together down the street.

It really is a hard thing to do, to let go of someone you care about so much, wanting to spend the rest of your life with them and then somewhere along the ways having to let go, having to give them a light shove to move forward to something better.

Shira we’d been together for four years three months and six days give or take.

I remember the first time I met you; your laugh booming through the room at a joke, me completely enthralled by it; a girl that wasn’t afraid to laugh at something, to put herself out there. You did that, you’re the proverbial girl with her heart on her sleeve.

I’d wonder if you ever knew how brave you are. It’s such an admirable trait. So optimistic and making the best of everything that you have, what we had.

“So you saw Jonghyun with Shira right?” Minho asks grinning. “What do you think of her?”

I smile at him. “She’s really nice. How did they meet?” I ask curiously.

“Hyung and Noona took a class together.” Kibum explains happily. “I forget what Jonghyun said but Shira told him plain and simple, he was dead wrong.” Laughing he smiles at Minho.

“Jonghyun of course argues that he’s not” Minho says rolling his eyes. “Of course though he was.”

“And hyung apologized.” Taemin says smiling. “Noona offered to tutor him since he was struggling with the class so badly.” He says beaming. “Soon after hyung claims to have swept Shira off her feet.”

Chuckling I chug down the last of my drink. “They looked pretty happy together.”

“They always have been, well after Jonghyun learned not to argue with her.” Minho says laughing “The girl is never wrong.”

Nodding my head I set my glass down, she couldn’t stand to be. I think to myself. That’s how Shira is, she’ll only speak when she is completely positive she’s correct and has an argument crafted to prove it, at least in her academic part of her life. In everything else she’d throw herself in wholeheartedly to learn something, anything. “She seems like I good match for Jonghyun.”

“Well it was bound to happen.” Key says sighing. “Jonghyun has taken his sweet time in trying to find a girl to be with.”

“I know I’m glad noona is really nice.” Taemin says taking a sip of his beer. “Though she was pretty hung up on this guy.”

“Yeah…” Minho says glancing at me carefully. “But then Jonghyun just worked through it.”

“He really likes her.” I mumble happily. “Well I’m done for the night. I’ll see you guys around.”

“You’re moving here?” Kibum asks me clearly excited at the prospect.

Shrugging my shoulders I glance around the bar. “I’m thinking about it, I’ll be in town for a couple of weeks.”

“It’ll be good to have the gang together.” Taemin says nodding me off. “See you later hyung.”

Nodding my head I wave to them before stuffing my hands into my pockets. It was good to hear how well Jonghyun treats her; it was good to know that she’s moved on. It was good to know that I had to let go, to know I wasn’t ever going to end up with Shira. She needed someone more, someone not so lost in thought. Someone who charges in like a certain dinosaur I know.
