Chapter 89
Dragon of the EastJune 15th, 2019. Probably one of the many days Ji has given me that I will never forget. Why? I'll get there.
First, let me tell you: having your fiancé not be able to talk to you for nine months is terrible. It's harder than you might think! Especially now that my confidante is back home and her boyfriend is being mopy and a not-fun-to-be-around-unless-you-love-the-sound-of-sighs type. And my fiancé's best friend is sneaking out a whole lot either to escape me or he really has a secret girlfriend.
With winter came Hooyoung's wedding. I was one of the bridesmaids, and the bridesmaids dress actually didn't like they do at a lot of weddings. It was a really cute shade of mint green with a pastel blue sash.
The next few months passed and Seungri and Daesung came back. At least now I had two more people to talk to. TOP may as well have been a mute.
I started to mark the days on my calendar. There was probably a couple of months left, maybe more, but that just goes to show how much I missed him. He called me often, but I knew he was tired so I would rather he got his rest. He tried to convince me that he was fine, but me being the stubborn person I am wouldn't let him.
"Hey, Kimmy-noona." Seungri said as I walked into HQ. What was he doing there? And why was everyone else behind him?
"Oh, hello. What brings you all here?" I asked the four men.
"You do, come on! Let's go!" Daesung pulled me by my arm. "We've been waiting for you, how late do you come in for work?"
"It's 7 AM. And like you said, I need to work." I tried to pull my arm away.
"But work doesn't need you as much as we do. Stop fighting!" Seungri grabbed my other arm to help Daesung.
"Uhh, okay... What do you guys need me for?
