For some reason, Jiyong-ssi was acting cold towards me at first.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"Nothing. So, you know these people?" he changed the subject.

I frowned, confused. "Yes. Mr. Park owns this place, and he's best friends with my dad. And Junghwa-oppa and Ae Sook are his kids. Why?"

"No reason, just curious." He his ice cream, French vanilla flavor. I mine, mint chocolate flavor.

Some silence ensued.

I couldn't stand it anymore. "Are you mad at me about something?" I asked him.

"No, not at all." he sighed. "I'm sorry. I'll stop."

"Stop what?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just... Never mind. So, how's life?"

"It's fine. How's yours?"

"Busy. I practically live in the studio, recording and producing new songs." he said.

Oh. Maybe he was just tired and that's why he was acting this way. I smiled at him. "You should get more rest, Jiyong-ssi. This isn't healthy."

"I know, I can't help it." he sighed. "Anyways, let's talk happy. Tell me something." He his ice cream again, looking adorable while doing it.

"Umm..." I gulped. "Well... I'm meeting up with Kelly, Chaehin, Hooyoung and Jaeminhi later this week."

"That's great! Let them know I said hi!" he said. He sighed again. "Kimmy-a-- Kim-ssi." he corrected himself.

"Uh huuuuh..?"

"Can't you tell me where you're living now?" he asked. He begged with his eyes.

"No, Jiyong-ssi. It's the whole point of being there."

"To get away from me?"

"No. To get away from here. This place, these people." I jumped to add, "ALL of these people."

He sighed again. "I promise to stay away!"

"Then what's the point of knowing?" I asked.

"Yah, I just wanna know!" he pouted.

I laughed. "So, anything new in the Hallyu scene?" As if I already didn't know.

"Well, 2ne1 finally got their new album out. 2ne1's a four-girl group under YG. You know... Park Bom, Sandara, Minzy and CL?" he looked at me with these eyes. I couldn't put my finger on it, but it felt like he was trying to send me a message.

"Yeah, I know them. Anyone else?" I looked at my ice cream and .

"Uhhh.... Let's see... Se7en-hyung's gone to the military..." he looked sad for a second, then recomposed.

"Oh, right! Speaking of which, when's your turn?" I threw it out there casually, but my heart ached for the time.

"I don't know. Nothing's been announced yet, but I have to go soon." He his ice cream again.

"Yeah, right." he scoffed. "Don't worry, you'll be fine."
