Jeon Jungkook
an awkward university student who already knows that he’ll just end up taking over his family’s shop after school. comes from a middle-class family. has a crush on Lee Miso, but is too shy to ever talk to her first. is obsessed with taking polaroid photos of people and writing their names on it as if he'll forget them.

Lee Miso
comes from Jungkook’s hometown. They became friends to fight the homesickness. she likes Jungkook, and knows that he likes her back, but she doesn’t want to be with someone so scared of her that he can’t speak. she gives up on Jungkook and gets a different boyfriend.

Park Jiyeon
a small-town girl who feels restricted by the small-town life. She and her brother were orphaned three years ago after a fatal bus accident took both their parents at once. she believes she can be so much more, despite the opinions of the town residents. she falls for Jungkook because he is the first person besides her brother to believe in her. 

Park Jimin
