Dragon of the EastWe went our separate ways and he oh so dangerously snuck a last kiss right when we were getting out of the hotel.
"Saranghae." he said.
"Ji! Someone might see!" I said. He pouted at me, and I sighed. "Saranghae..." I said.
He waved goodbye when a taxi came to pick me up. Then he leaned into a window and whispered, "If this one tries to pick you up too, you know who to call." I laughed.
I was silent all the way. The driver noticed this, and God bless him, he tried to cheer me up.
"So, where're you headed?"
"Istanbul, Turkey."
"Oh. That's nice. What's the occasion?"
I chuckled. "I got fired."
He raised an eyebrow at me and I realized that my attempt to kill the conversation was totally effective.
The airport was nice, and because I had no idea about Osaka, I didn't know much of the whereabouts of it. But it was pretty big. I had my ticket in one hand as I pushed my suitcases in a cart with the other.
After passing through security, I found a seat near the terminal and sat down. I took out my phone. There was still that text from JiNel's boyfriend. I opened it.
«Hey, just wanted to let you know that I'm not taking care of JiNel anymore, so I'm not the one to ask for news on her condition.»
I rolled my eyes. Wow. He was so inconsiderate. How did JiNel find someone so perfect for her? I shook my head. I shouldn't be mean to a girl in a coma.
