I bowed and nodded. "Yes, I did."
"Right, so," he sat down in his chair and motioned for Jiyong and I to sit on a couch in front of his desk. "This dating thing."
Jiyong-ah leaned forward, fumbling with his fingers. I looked at him worriedly. He looked like he was trying to come up with an escape plan, which only worried me more.
"What do we do?" I asked, breaking the awkward silence that was building up.
"I mean, I guess if you two are serious about it..." Yang-nim sighed, his eyes looking wary.
"We are." Ji said fiercely.
"Then I guess there's nothing more to talk about. You don't really have the option of turning around and going private, so we might as well start answering the questions, what do you say?"
There wasn't much TO say. We went over the details of our relationship, just so we all had the same info. When we met, how we met, etc.
As we were walking out of Yang-nim's office, my phone buzzed. Jiyong-ah chuckled at my ringtone.
"We have better songs, you know. Better and newer." he smiled.
"It's my favorite!" I smiled back.
