Chapter 55
Dragon of the EastThey stayed for the rest of the funeral and then they drove me home. I couldn't stay any longer, and the Parks understood.
"Take care of yourself, now." Daesung said as he dropped me off.
I nodded, thanked him and locked myself into my room. I cried myself into a nap.
In my dream, I was visited by Junghwa-oppa. We were at the last place we were together: home. I sat on the couch and he laid his head on my lap and stretched out. He looked up at me and brushed a piece of my bangs behind my ear. He smiled.
"Move on, Kimmy." he whispered.
"What?" I asked him.
"Move on. It's bad enough that I caused you this, I don't want you moping after me." he said. "And you've done more than enough of that already."
"Oppa... Stay with me, please." I begged him.
He chuckled. "Silly girl. I'm always with you." he said. He picked up my hand, the one with the ring on it. He interlaced our fingers so that our matching rings touched. "Don't forget that." He looked into my eyes with his big, dark, brown ones for the last time.
I woke up with fresh tears in my eyes.
