Plan’s POV

I went to university pretty early today because one, I woke up early, two, Mean woke up early, three, Ai’Gun woke up early. That’s the short version of the story but the longer version; I woke up at 5am in our house so I decided to message Mean to wake him up but he wasn’t replying so I decided again to get dressed already at 6am and went to him condominium. When I arrived there and since I have the spare key because Mean told me that I need to have the key but I am not sure why but I still accepted it—I saw Mean sleeping peacefully on his bed so I decided again to go downstairs and buy our breakfast because I forgot to eat in our house and when I went back in, Mean is still sleeping so I wake him and up and we ate breakfast already.

Mean didn’t want to go to university yet because his class starts at 10am and mine at 9am and that time it was only 7am so I got a brilliant idea of calling Ai’Gun so that he can play with us or we can go to the practice room. I was happy that Ai’White went to their house early so Ai’Gun is already awake and they are on their way to University so I told Mean to get dress already because we will go to school—and now, it’s only 8am and Ai’Gun, Mean, and I are all in the practice room. You are asking about Ai’White and Ai’Cap? They said they will go somewhere—not with us which hurts me a bit because it looks like Ai’Gun is right. Ai’Cap doesn’t want to be with us anymore because he has boyfriend, “That I don’t understand na Ai’Plan because you—you have a boyfriend and yet when I called you na khrab you are always available na woie! But Ai’Cap—he changed! I don’t know why but maybe P’Hyuk was right before that having boyfriend is not good na khrab for Ai’Cap!” I nod understanding him very well.

“Chai Ai’Gun, I don’t get your brother anymore. He started dating Ai’White na khrab and then he changed so quickly. You told me last time that Ai’Cap keeps on talking to Ai’White even at midnight na woie! What are they even talking about? When Mean and I are talking over the phone and I already said what I want to say—I put down the phone already and then sleep because Mae told me to sleep eight hours a day because that will make my skin better na khrab and will make me grow taller~” I feel bad from this friend because he probably cannot sleep well anymore.

He keeps on nodding actually, “You are right na khrab na Ai’Plan. I cannot sleep properly anymore because Ai’Cap keeps on laughing over the phone na khrab and I am glad that I slept a lot when I was young so I don’t need to grow taller but I think you need to sleep more na Ai’Plan because you aren’t so tall! Anyway—I told you yesterday about the vacation in Korea—krab? So P’Hyuk already talked to P’Heechul about the house and I think Nong Heemi wants you to stay in their house too because she said they have projector and speaker—but I don’t know why you need projector and speaker na khrab. Anyway, we will buy the ticket and fix the visa na khrab after my P’ go back to Korea.” That is something that I am so excited.

“Did you even ask me if I want to go?” Suddenly, Mean said that and I panic, “Why? Why? Why? Aren’t we going na Mean?” I asked him again and again and again because, “I already ready my suitcase na khrab and told Mae and Pa about the trip—they said that if  will take care of myself and if I won’t ask money from them then it’s okay they I told Mae, ‘Woie! Mae! Mean is with me so he can take care of me na khrab,’ so Mae told me it’s okay to go!” I want to know why he isn’t sure that we are coming.

I look at Ai’Gun and he looks so sad too, “Awww—I want to go to different places with Ai’Mean and Ai’Plan too in Korea na khrab. Won’t you change your mind na Ai’Mean?” see, even Ai’Gun is pleading my grumpy boyfriend. Maybe I woke him up too early that’s why he doesn’t want to go to Korea now, “I just asked Plan if you ask me already—but—if your Mae and Pa said yes then I don’t see any reason why we can’t go to Korea—but—” I smile already knowing that I can go with Ai’Gun, “I want me and you time,” what kind of request is that?

“Awww Mean—my boyfriend na khrab—I thought you are smart na woie because you are studying in IC na khrab but I figured out today that you aren’t as smart as Ai’Title—” his eyebrow twitch and he looks so funny, “We always have me and you na khrab—it’s me—then you—plus Ai’Gun!” I said while pointing my finger to him then to me then to Ai’Gun. We always go out too with Ai’Gun, “I am starting to get really jealous of Ai’Gun~” Mean looks at me seriously and I look back at him because I am not sure why he is looking at me, “If Ai’Gun and Mean will drown—who will you save Plan?” is this a quiz show?

I smile, “Of course na khrab—it’s Ai’Gun na woie~” and Mean frowns, “Because Mean knows how to swim and Ai’Gun knows how to swim but I don’t know how to swim na khrab and I know Ai’Gun will save me first if I drown—so it’s the other way round Mean,” I look at the other side only to see Ai’Gun nodding his head, “Woie—you are so smart na khrab Ai’Plan, because I can only save one person na khrab and I think Ai’White will save Ai’Cap if we are together na khrab—and Ai’Mean can save P’Mark then because P’ will come with us na woie and I am not sure if he can swim or not!” see—I really like that Ai’Gun is a very logical person.

We both hear a loud sigh, “I don’t know how to talk to both of you na khrab anymore—I pity P’Mark,” then he stands up and walk towards the door, “Woie Mean khrab, where are you going?” I asked him panicking because I didn’t bring anything with me even my lunch and I need to know what time we will eat later, “Just buy some Nom yen, do you want?” he asked me and I am glad he still willing to buy us drink, “Then—one thai tea for Ai’Gun and one nom yen for me na khrab—thank you~” and Mean walks away already with his head shaking.

When he is out of the room, I shifted back to Ai’Gun who is busy typing on his phone while smiling, “Who are you messaging na khrab?” I asked him. Ai’ looks at me, “Ah—P’Mark na khrab. I told him about our trip ko Korea and asked him if he wants to come with us na khrab and he said yes right away—I think P’ doesn’t have anything to do this vacation na Ai’ because he said yes very fast,” he looks his phone again after answering my question, “Hum—you know what Ai’—P’Mark is a bit weird for me,” I said with serious tone.

I don’t know if I am the only one noticing this but, “You told me na khrab that you saw P’Mark and P’Best last Monday when you went on a blind date na khrab with that Nong—khrab?” and Ai’ looks at me and nod, “Then—when you need P’Mark he always shows up—right?” and Ai’ nods again, “That is so weird na khrab Ai’Gun,” I concluded again, “Why? I don’t think P’Mark is weird na khrab,” he said with all honestly and now I know my Ai’Friend is naïve, “Because—P’Mark is like—fourth year na khrab and he has a lot of time going out while my Mean cannot even go on a date with me when he has papers too finish—woie! I think P’Mark is really smart na Ai’~” we both have the same identical facial expression right now for sure.

“Woie! Yeah!! You’re right na Ai’Plan because when I went to P’Best house, P’Mark was helping P’Best with his papers na khrab and remember—Ai’White said before that P’Mark is really smart!!! I should hang out with him more na Ai’ maybe he can share some of his knowledge to me!” I envy him; Ai’Gun is really close with P’Mark, “bring me with you na Ai’! Soon we will have many papers too because we are in third year na woie so we need to ask help! I even hang out with Mean’s condo for few days na woie to let him help me soon in our paper—though I am not sure why Mean and I always end up on his bed every time I go there but he promised me to help me in the future because I am helping him release but I don’t know what he releases!”

Ai’Gun has a deep frown on his forehead, “Don’t get mad at me na Ai’Plan but—I think Ai’Mean isn’t smart at all—I think Ai’Mean is an average student na khrab and nothing is special to him,” did he just judge my boyfriend? “Woie!! Ai’Gun you are my closest friend na khrab but you cannot say those things to my Mean!! That’s why you don’t have girlfriend na Ai’, because you always say things like that—” “Awww—I am not saying things like that and I don’t know why Nong Prim didn’t contact me anymore after our date na khrab!! She told me that I am so cool na khrab on stage because she saw us performed before and she said she likes funny guys but I am not that funny maybe that was why my first blind date failed!!” that’s why I don’t want him to go on a blind date—because Ai’Gun isn’t really a funny person. The girl will only get bored.

I pat his back, “It’s okay na khrab Ai’Gun—maybe you can try it again and maybe it will be successful!” I am a very nice friend to him because I am telling him encouraging words, “Thank you na khrab Ai’Plan but I can’t go on a blind date this week because P’Hyuk will go back to Korea this Saturday na khrab. Ai’Cap and I will not go to school this Friday because we will hang out before they leave,” why didn’t they invite me? I also don’t want to go to school.

I nod my head trying to understand that P’Hyuk is Ai’Gun’s brother and not my brother, “I guess—Mean and I will just go to the airport this Saturday Ai’Gun,” I finally said because you know going to the airport is like going on a trip—shorter trip and eating outside with friends so I want to come. Ai’Gun didn’t think twice before nodding his head, “Let’s go! I think our cousin na khrab will go with us on Saturday,” I nod too but Ai’Gun has a lot of cousins, “Which cousin?” I asked him and he responded right away, “Ahh—Ai’Kris! He said he will go there with Ai’Yatch and P’Off,” it’s funny that most of Ai’Gun’s relatives and also their friends know each other. “I am excited na khrab—I haven’t seen Ai’Kris since last year na khrab,” and of course I also know Ai’Gun’s relatives.

It looks like Saturday will be a very fun and exciting day for everyone. I can’t wait.
