Gun’s POV

I keep on walking back and forth, instructing Ai’Mean and Ai’Title to tilt the banner a little bit to the right, “It’s still crocked na Ai’, move it up a little Ai’Mean.” And this is probably the nth time I said that but the banner really looks crocked.

Both of them looks irritated already, “One more time Ai’ and—” “Mean khrab—you are doing great. You look more handsome up there na khrab~” but Ai’Mean wasn’t able to finish his words because my Ai’crazy lovesick friend is cheering for his boyfriend as if he is performing on stage. I rolled my eyes when Ai’Mean flashed him his brightest smile. “Wait there na Plan. I will come down soon~” he even answered.

‘Those fools are so in love with each other just like the couple that I can see in the kitchen.’

My P’Hyuk and P’Donghae as busy cooking pad thai but instead of looking at the pan, they are both looking at each other and while giggling, “Woei, I hope the pad thai is edible later. I am hungry na khrab~” We’ve been so busy since this morning. My Ai’Good friends decided to help the preparation and since Ai’Plan and Ai’Mean are a package, I used Ai’Mean a bit. He needs to use his height for this job—besides I still haven’t forgot what Ai’Mean did to Ai’Plan last year.

“Move—move—okay~” finally, I am satisfied with the banner and both Ai’Mean and Ai’Title went down already. We put the big ‘suk san wan geuod Ai’ Hyuk’ in the living room so that people will know that it’s P’s birthday—not unless they thought it’s my birthday but mine is done already and Ai’Cap too.

Both of the boys stand beside me to look at the banner, “Humm—yeah it’s straight.” Ai’Title commented which only happens once in a blue moon. Before, I thought that Ai’Silent cannot talk because he is always silent but Ai’Plan told me that he just don’t like talking too much. Woei—that’s very frustrating not talking.

“You made us stand long there Ai’Perfectionist just to make that banner straight? You are unbelievable~” Ai’Mean starts to rant but I am not listening to him. He is always like that so I got used to it already. he is only good talking to Ai’Plan, “Tsk—Ai’Mean—” and there goes my perfect shield, “Don’t get mad—it’s P’Hyuk’s birthday.” Ai’Plan only calls his boyfriend Ai’ when he is mad or when he wants to prevent a future tell on clash between his boyfriend and me.

Ai’Mean is not really a perfect boyfriend. Ai’Cap punched him before for a reason that I can’t do for Ai’Plan. These small pay backs are my way of revenge to Ai’Mean. “You are being unfair Plan,” they are sweet most of the time—but also bicker like right now. “Aw Mean, aren’t you afraid of P’Hyuk? He is really scary na khrab. He made many engineering students cried~” It’s true that Ai’Plan is scared of my P’ but P’ won’t make someone cry for no reason.

I walk away from Ai’Mean and Ai’Plan together with Ai’Title. We both don’t want to get involve in their lovers quarrel.

Outside, Ai’Cap is busy moving Mae’s plants with Nong Heemi, “Woie Cap Gege, why do I need to help you with this? I am sweating too much na kah~” for some reason, her words made Ai’Title chuckled, “Aw Ai’ you know how to laugh?” I asked him full of amazement but Ai’ just brush me off, “Your P’s guest—why does she talk that way? It’s too funny.” I also want to know why, “Not sure Ai’,” one of the mysteries of the world—I guess.

“OH MY GOODNESS!! YAH!! KIM HEEMI!! WHY ARE YOU SACRIFICING YOUR MILKY WHITE SKIN TO THE SUN?? COME HERE!! HURRY UP OR I WILL CALL YOUR APPA!!” I almost jump on my feet when I heard a loud shout coming from my back. Heemi’s Mae—yelled so loud. If Mae will yelled at me like that I would definitely go inside but Heemi—“Umma—5 more minutes. Cap Gege needs my help~” And I saw my brother rolling his eyes because of this Nong’s sassiness.

Around 2 o’clock there are so many people in our house. This feels like Songkran already—but it’s not yet—only P’s birthday. “Oi—Nong Gun looks handsome now~” P’Off said with huge grin on his face. I haven’t seen him in a long time, “P’ which planet did you hide? I haven’t seen you in a while na P’!” I joked around. Ai’Cap and I are very closed to the Engineering college before because P’ don’t want other people to mess up with us.

“Not planet Nong—jungle. Ai’Off lives there—he is a buffalo!” I smile at P’Ngern. It’s amazing how closed they are even though they are not from the same batch. Hazing in Engineering is really amazing.

Soon—more Engineers are here but I’d rather stay with my friends. P’Hyuk’s friends are very intense—like right now—they are having drinking competition in the middle of the afternoon. I walk passed many people that keep on greeting me but it’s not even my birthday.

‘Are they confused?’

Good thing I saw Ai’Cap at the front yard busy looking at his phone, “Ai’ why are you burning hole on your phone?” I scared him a bit because he didn’t see me and that was the most effective ‘boo’ that I did to him since we were born, “P’, seriously!! Don’t give me a heart attack!!” this is a very big improvement between us. Now this P’ can show his authority to this Ai’.

“You look so serious na Ai’, but we need to go back inside. P’Donghae will be in trouble if we don’t stop P’Engineers giving P’Hyuk many alcohols.” My brother has really bad drinking habits and I think P’Donghae won’t be happy about it no matter how much he loves my P’.

Ai’Cap didn’t look alarm at all, “Tell P’ to stop drinking na khrab. Can’t you see that I am so worried here?” Having a look at Ai’ he is really sweating so much. I know that Thailand is hot but why is he sweating like he is running many laps, “Woie—go inside na Ai’. You are sweating too much?” He shows his phone to me and I thought he wants me to look at the temperature, “35 Celsius na Ai’,” I said but he stomps his feet, “P’Idiot—look at the screen—P’White and P’Mark are together right now!!”

With P’Mark’s name, I can’t help but look at the phone again. In the picture, Ai’White and P’Mark are sitting in a café around Siam. “Woie—Ai’ did P’Mark already changed his victim? Woie—what are you going to do na Ai’, it looks like P’Mark likes Ai’White now!” I panicked because even if Ai’Cap keeps on denying, his smart P’Gun knows that he is slowly liking Ai’White.

Ai’ was about to hit me using his phone when suddenly a loud screeching sound coming from 2 different cars can be heard and stopped in front of our front lawn.

Captain’s POV

We’ve been so busy since this morning because today is P’Hyuk’s birthday. Many people that I haven’t seen in a long time are going in and out of our house right now. It’s amazing how big the network my P’ has here in Thailand.

“Ai’Cap why are you alone? Where is your monkey brother?” I grin when I heard P’Kao’s voice. She is someone that you never expect to be part of the Engineering gang with my brother. She is a perfect definition of beautiful for me—P’Gun and I used to have crush on her when P’ first introduced us to each other but now, P’Kao has boyfriend. I wai at her first, “Somewhere around there khrab P’,” I answered politely and she pats my head, “I see na kah.” Then she looks at me from head to toe, “You are taller than me now kah. I can’t believe it.” She smiles at me again and I smile back at her. “Chai P’ because I am an adult now khrab~” I am the youngest between my brothers so people used to baby me so much.

“Ai’Kao!! You are here na khrab!! I am glad to see you!!” That is P’Yatch being as loud as ever. I wai at them before taking my leave. I saw so many familiar faces today.

I was busy walking around when a panting Ai’Toptap stops me, “Ai—Cap—have you—seen—this?” and he raised his phone. At his back, I saw Ai’Gunsmile and Ai’Sing running. Those three never separates—but then I focused on his phone and there I saw a picture taken quiet far from the subject. It’s a picture of two blurry people talking while sipping coffee in a café around Siam.

I look at Ai’Toptap, “What’s that?” I asked him because I don’t see any reason for him to look this worried right now. He pulls his phone back to him, swipe it right then show me again. This time the blurry figures became clearer, “Woie—Ai’—” I cannot say anything because those two people talking are the people that I don’t want to meet anymore.

“I don’t know why they are together but I can only sense trouble.” Ai’ is very honest with me right now. Ai’Sing puts his hand on my shoulder, “You should call P’White na khrab. I heard so many rumors about P’Mark khrab and I don’t think P’White should associate himself with that P’,” actually, I believe in Ai’Sing. He has a big network of friends.

Without thinking twice, I turn around to my friends and walk outside our house to find a better signal for my phone. I also look for the link that Ai’Toptap showed to me with P’White and P’Mark’s picture.

‘Oyy P’White khrab—why are you talking to P’Bastard na khrab?’

I stomp my feet again and again because I’ve been P’Mark’s victim twice. I don’t want him to manipulate P’White too. Many people are still getting in our front yard right now and all of them are greeting me but I am not paying attention. I am too focused on the picture.

I want to know what’s happening. My mind is screaming but suddenly my P’Idiot brother scared me.

We both heard a loud screeching sound and in an instant two luxury cars are parked in front of our yard. One is a matte black 2019 Mercedes-Benz GT AMG GT C Roadster that even if I begged my parents and even if we sell our house—we won’t be able to buy—not unless I will sell my P’Gun to P’Mark. I heard his family is super rich.

Aside from the Mercedes-Benz, the other car is another 2019 Audi R8 Spyder metallic blue. The car is screaming of luxury and wealth. I am a car enthusiast since I was young so I know a lot of things about cars—especially sports car—and as far as I remember—I don’t think my P’ has this level of rich friends—or even rich relatives.

P’Gun and I both follow the two cars and the metallic blue Audi opens up first followed by the matte black Benz. I was really excited just by seeing those cars but I also feel nervous because there are only two people that I think can afford a more than 5,000,000 baht car. I don’t want to think about them but—“WOIEEEE WHAT ARE THEY DOING HERE AI”?”

I shake my head, “I don’t know na P’ khrab.” I answer honestly. We are both speechless, “Ai’Cap—” “P’White khrab—why are you here?” my question came out naturally. Yes—the P’ that keeps on following me for almost a month now showed up driving that handsome matte black Benz.

“Uy—go home na P’~” and my brother runs to my back, “Why are you running away from me Ai’Gun? I came here to see you~” and the bold guys of course, is my P’s worst nightmare, P’Mark.

We both don’t know what to do when suddenly, “Ai’Gun, Ai’Cap, why don’t you let your guests come in the house?” P’Hyuk already saw them.

‘We are so dead!’
