Chandelier Showdown
Golden Quill - The Leaders (GQ3)The chandelier plummeted toward the floor.
“Isa!” Sehun threw the ropes across the second-floor balcony toward her. September shoved Hana back and grabbed the ropes, wrapped them around the pillar and tugged them tight. Sehun, Arran, and Kyungsoo held on to their ends, everyone pulled to secure the giant chandelier, stopping it from falling right onto Lee Sung-kyung and Zhang Yixing. The chandelier swayed perilously. Arran could feel the weight of it. “Damn it Park Haneul. I’m sending you my chiropractor bill.”
"Why can't you just leave me alone?” Sung-kyung cried from the first floor.
September swore. If she let go of the ropes, the chandelier would be unstable. The others wouldn’t be able to handle the weight. They were caught, but Sung-kyung was alone down there.
Hana picked up a pole lying on the floor and swung it into Septembers back. September didn’t cry out but the rope slid a little.
“Don’t you dare let go.” Kyungsoo warned Sehun, “She can handle it.”
Hana hit again. September wound the ropes around her wrist and flipped over, as she did, she brought her legs forward and kicked Hana. The butler flew back into a pillar and fell to her knees. It wasn't enough to stop her.
“Let me have them!” Haneul rushed up to September, “you need to help Sung-kyung!” September nodded. Hana was standing. Haneul wound the ropes around her arms and used the pillar as support. She was panting under the strain.
“You okay?” September wasn't sure about leaving Haneul.
“Watch out!” Haneul cried but it was too late. Hana ran straight at September and the two flew over the bannister and into mid-air. Everyone watched horrified as September and Hana seemed to float and then starte
