“You give him the tea,” September whispered.

“No, you give him the tea,” Sana pushed the tea across the kitchen counter. They were standing at the kitchen window watching the Director. He was sitting on the porch with their father.

“I’ll give him the tea!” Mi-sun said.

“No!” September snatched the cup. They stared knowingly at her, “The Director is very particular.”

“Uh-huh.” Sana wiggled her brows.

September cleared when she stepped outside, “I’ll just be getting a midnight snack ready then,” Sana's father patted September’s shoulder as he passed.

Sehun continued to stare out into the night. His legs dangling off the side of the porch. September walked down the porch steps and stood in front of him. She set the tea beside him, “Some tea…Director.” She kept her eyes lowered. Not sure what to do or say after that kiss. She turned to go back inside,

“Stay,” he caught her hand, she turned back, “Did you hate it?” he stared up into her face, “Me kissing you?” September blushed, “I never wanted to do that without your permission but…” he slowly encircled her waist and brought her closer. He pushed his face into her stomach and breathed in, “I’m running out of time. There are too many people in our way.”
