When Sana walked out of her apartment her heart filled with warmth. September leant against a flashy car with a bunch of flowers. Sana was the first to admit that she had a major girl crush on the Song House Master. The woman was just too good looking. The type of beauty that rivalled Song Gaelin and Lee Arran.

“Agassi,” September smirked, “You’re staring.”

“Cause my date is so damn fine,” Sana teased back not minding the casual way Isa spoke to her.

“Aish, get over here.” Sana shyly approached and September shoved the flowers at her chest, “Let’s get you drunk so I can take advantage of you.”

“I thought you’d never ask.”

The back window slid open, “Can you two lovebirds get in already?” Xiumin ordered. “I am the ranking HM here.”

September rounded the car and got into the driver’s seat. “Mianhe” Sana apologised as she slid into the sleek car.

“Unnie!” Suri reached out her hands and Sana clutched them, “Mian unnie.” She pouted, “Taeyoon ssi told me she was going to her brother’s marriage date, but it never occurred to me to say anything.”

“You’re not supposed to say anything.” Suho reminded his girlfriend.

“It’s okay guys. We’re all just doing our jobs.” Sana assured them.

“Let’s go already.” Xiumin was impatient, “I have a meeting in the morning.” He met September’s eyes in the review mirror.

“Tao is meeting us there.” Suri checked their chat group, “President Wu only left the office now.”

They went to their favourite tent. Ordered fried chicken and tripe (September’s fave) and lots of spicy squid and kimchi.

“Rice,” Tao inhaled the rice as he sat in-between September and Suri, “Best seat in the house.” He winked at Suho mischievously.

“Why you!” Suho lifted his hand in a hitting motion.

“So spill already,” Tao claimed a bowl of rice for himself and picked at the rest of the dishes as if they were the sides.

“President Jung had a marriage date today.”

Tao immediately glanced at Sana, “Sorry kid.”

“I just wish he told me the truth instead of confusing me with cake!”

“Cake?” Xiumin whispered to Suho

“She loves cake,” Suho whispered back

“Sneaky using your weakness against you.” Tao agreed through a mouthful of rice. They clinked glasses and swallowed the fiery soju. “It’s the best to chase this with kimchi.”

September as the youngest filled all their glasses again. “Our dongsaeng is so obedient.” Xiumin ruffled September’s head, “She even drives for her oppas and unnies.”

“Dae,” September drawled bored. It was nice being out with the guys after having such a bad start. The Director had pretty much ignored her the whole day. Well ignore was perhaps overexaggerating. Their schedules had not matched. September had left for a meeting with President Wu and Lee Sung-kyung. Tomorrow they’d be meeting President Min. By the time she’d returned to Oracle, the Director had left for meetings and he had also already stopped by to say goodnight to the Chairlady before she arrived home. She sighed heavily.

“I know right?” Sana thought September was responding to her story. “I didn’t ask to meet such an arrogant guy. He wooed me! He put me up in a suite and threw label clothes at me!”

“Aish, she’s still a thug,” Xiumin teased.

“Boss isn’t a bad guy.” Suho defended Kyungsoo, “But he’s kinda stuck. He wants to please his parents and he does care for you.”

“He’s a chicken. He doesn’t know how to stand up to his mommy.” Sana huffed. “I can’t believe I ever fell for a guy like that and!” she held up a hand, “Isa, Suri, when I was over at the Jung Household, he just sat there. He didn’t even come after me!”

September threw back another shot.

“Aish, let’s just get drunk then.” Suho tried to liven them up, “You too, We are the House of Song,” he teased September. The Song Estate was considered the more stuck up of the five estates. While technology had decreased the estate budgets, the Song Estates budget seemed to increase every year. Technology plus the traditional luxuries to boot!

September didn’t need more permission than that. It was hard remembering Mae. It must have been that new simulation. Next week would be the same. What could she do to get out of it?

“How are things at work?” Suri turned her attention onto Tao, “we have to drag you out and pretend Sana
