It was the feeling that he was doing something. He’d had a moment this morning on the way to work. He’d cried in the car. Luckily the screen was up and the driver couldn’t see him. Nuna would never love him. He was a joke to her. She’d used him. He’d let her.
He’d cried for Chen and Minah too. He really loved his hyung and sister-in-law together. They were not the perfect couple, but together they made a family. The three of them with Jennie. Growing up, their parents had always been busy. Their mother, a famous and very busy actress, was hardly home and their father was a President who also sat on multiple boards.
But, Chanyeol had felt very loved growing up. Thanks to Chen and their House Master Luca. Chen had always been there for him. Quietly providing support and the human connection Chanyeol needed. Now hyung was hurt and betrayed. Chanyeol clutched the pencil so hard, it snapped.
“Woah there,” Jungkook’s hand closed around his nephews. He looked at what Chanyeol was working on, it was dark. “You’re producing a comedy, aren’t you?” Jungkook joked, “Is it a dark comedy?”
Chanyeol picked up the music sheet and scrunched it up.
“Yah!” Jungkook grabbed his arm, “I didn’t mean destroy the thing.”
“Samchon is right. This . Everything .” He turned in his chair and wrapped his arms around Jungkook’s waist.
Jungkook embraced the boy warmly. “It’s okay.”
Chanyeol shook his head, “It’s not. But thanks for saying so.”
“Chanyeol…”
Chanyeol let go and forced a smile. “I’m going to get some air.”
