The Deal - Help Me
Golden Quill - The Leaders (GQ3)“,” September had tapped into the footage from the server room of Park Minjun’s apartment. Arran had done well not to be seen, but the black SUV was caught on screen. It was a frontal view and the driver was clearly female.
Arran had not been careful. She’d been upset and irrational.
Worse still, September couldn’t bypass the security that would allow her to make changes. She banged her head against the wall and slammed her laptop shut. Hot tears stung her eyes. What was she going to do? Arran…
Her eyes snapped open. There was one person she knew could do this. September pulled out her phone and hesitated, calling the Director would mean she’d have to tell him what they’d done. September was pretty sure Sehun knew what happened to his sister. It was in the pained way he looked at Arran when he thought no one was looking. Or how he gave her everything she wanted. He bent over backwards for Arran, he didn’t do that for anyone else. He was usually prudent and wanted others to spoil him, but when it came to his sister it didn’t matter how much it cost.
But, she couldn’t call the Director. It was not her story to tell, “!” she looked up and then frowned as she read the sticker on the side of the aircon vent, “Wa---ng Construction? Tomorrow’s Design, Today?” September leapt up. Once outside and in the safety of her car she dialled Arran, “There’s a problem. The car was captured.”
“,” Arran swore, “Can you fix it? Obviously not, or you wouldn’t be calling.”
“I have two suggestions…”
“I’m not telling Sehun.” Arran shut down the first idea before September could even suggest it.
“Alright, then the company who built the building is Wang Construction,”
“!” Arran repeated, “You mean that Wang?”
“If you don’t want to make the call then Zhang Yixing knows the family well and he's still in the country."
“Absolutely not. You will not ask that psycho anything.” She sighed, “I’ll do it. But I’ll have to come to the city to meet with him. He won’t take my call.”
September was intrigued. What happened between Arran and that man? September didn’t know much except that they’d attended the same Uni and the same class. They were apparently rivals of some sort. If any of her brothers wanted to make Arran cry they’d mention this Wang. “How will you get here? I can’t send the chopper for you cause then the Director will know.”
“I’ll drive. I’ll be fine.”
“It’s two hours away and we’re running out of time.”
“Then you get back here and help the girls.”

Arran inspected her reflection in the bathroom mirror of the popular Chinese restaurant. September had managed to find out where Wang was having lunch. Too bad he wasn’t in his office or in that stupid monstrosity of a house he’d built and called art. Arran appli
