Jimin watched as the woman he was waiting for came running out. He had called her wanting to meet up and talk. Outside the cafe, he stuffed his hands in his pockets and smiled at her.

He was nervous but the thought of what had happened a few days before Miyeon had found out about L.Joe helped relieved him. It wasn’t much but at least he got clarification on what was going on and everything was resolved.
 

The boy walked up to Jimin and met at the place he had made an appointment to meet up. Jimin was the one who made contact first and wanted to discuss a few things.

The place they planned was a few blocks away from the school and out of sight as they both were in an alleyway.

“You made it,” he said as he stood before Jimin with a smirk.

Jimin grinned in return.

“Of course, why wouldn’t I?”

“What is it that you wanted to meet in secret for? I have other things to take care of,” the boy says and Jimin his lips before replying.

“By taking care of things, I hope you’re talking about Miyeon,” he shot back with a serious face and the boy in front of him scoffed.

“Why are you so worried about her?”

Jimin pushed him and he stumbled back.

“I know you and Miyeon had a thing. I know you were with Sohyun and you hurt both of them. And I also know your name, Lee Byunghun. But the thing is, if you’re here, why aren’t you with neither of them? Unless..You’re hiding?”

The boy glared at him, angry but Jimin went on.

“Whatever you’re doing I don’t care, but help me out a bit. Show yourself and fix everything you messed up on. I know Miyeon is waiting for your return as well as the other girl. It’d be nice to see them not suffer anymore, especially Miyeon,” he said and sighed, “That girl is a tough one. Anyway, take of them if you would and I’ll go my way. Bye.”

Jimin waved and stepped out back on the street but stopped and turned back around.

“L.Joe, right?”

The boy scoffed in disbelief but didn’t reply and Jimin returned with a grin as he stalked off.

“Now everything won’t go wrong again,” he said and Nara looked at him weirdly.

“What’s was going to go wrong?”

He shook his head and smiled widely at her.

“Nothing, Noona. What do you want to do today?” he beamed happily as he held out his hand and she took it.

“How about some food first? I’m hungry.”
 

Miyeon sat her diary aside and hugged her knees against her chest. She bit her lip when her phone ringed and the caller I.D. showed it was no one but  L.Joe.

More than a few days has passed and she hasn’t talked to nobody. Not even Jimin, not that he didn’t care. He was all up on Nara now so there was no point. Although she was glad her former lover was back, she didn’t have the courage to face him. The last time she’d seen him was the day she found out, and after that day she never returned to school. She was still processing the whole scene and situation as well as how she was going to face Sohyun now. Thinking about it now made her head hurt more than ever. She sighed and popped two Tylenol pills down followed by water.

“I want to see him,” she whispered and laid down. All the pain came back and tears threatened to come down but she held it back and hugged herself once more.

Miyeon then grabbed her phone from under her pillow and scanned through her contact list. When she came across Sohyun, she thought twice before calling her number.

After the call, she hung up and let out a deep breath.

“Please let this all work out,” she prayed under her breath.

Suddenly the doorbell ringed and she sat up immediately. She raised a brow and got up to go down stairs.
 

Sohyun stared at her phone after Miyeon hung up.

“Something important to talk to about?” she muttered and scoffed to herself.

Yeah right, she silently thought and looked out the window. Her eyes wandered around and she couldn’t help but thought back to three days ago.

She closed her eyes and calmed herself down, telling herself that no one was watching her and shut the blinds.

“It’s okay. Don’t be afraid. You can go out for just a few minutes,” she whispered and took a deep breath and exhaling it before walking out of her room.
 

L.Joe sat on the porch and thought about the past when they were both at the park. He closed his eyes and zoned out for a few seconds before the door flew opened revealing Miyeon. He immediately got up and walked over to her only for the door to slam in his face. He sighed and started knocking on the door.

“Yah, Yoo Miyeon! Open up!” he said but it was more soft as he didn’t want to raise his voice at her.

Miyeon shook her head.

“Go away! I don’t want to see you!” she shouted and he knew she was telling the truth but it was only because she was stubborn.

“I just want to talk to you. It won’t take long, I promise!” he says and she closed her eyes, giving in.

The door slowly opened and his eyes lit up. When he saw her, he couldn’t help but feel the excitement inside bursting out of him. He pulled her into a deep hug and she froze with her arms stuck to her sides.

“I’ve missed you so much,” he whispered beside her ear and her heart skipped a beat.

He was warm and all she ever wanted. But when he let go the warmth disappeared and she frowned inside.

L.Joe stared at her trying to memorize every feature of hers from before he left. He smiled after noticing that her cheeks had gotten bigger, fuller and jawline more slimmer.

“You’ve gotten more beautiful. All grown,” he commented and she blushed.

He chuckled at her red face and she quickly recovered from it. Miyeon glared at him and crossed her arms.

“What do you want?”

L.Joe smiled and shrugged. “Just wanted to see you. It’s been awhile,” he says and she scoffed.

“A while? You mean two years!” she almost exclaimed but calmed herself and he gave her a weak smile.

“Sorry. I’m sorry,” he apologized and she stared at him, telling him to keep going with his conversation.

He continued.

“I know you’ve waited long, Sohyun, too. And I’m sorry, again. I just thought I wasn’t ready to come back but I’ve been thinking about it lately even before you realized it was me..And I finally figured it out. It’s not that I wasn’t ready to come back but because I didn’t. I was afraid of how the situation was because of Sohyun since we never told her. I didn’t want her or you to hate me for leaving all of sudden. I was afraid to lose you both. And for that reason I chose to distance myself but I realized it wasn’t the best idea. I was losing the both of you by hurting you guys even more. So here I am..And I don’t know what else to tell you or do, but say I’m sorry..” he finished and she stared at him with watery eyes.

He his lips and she felt the urge to just pull him into a kiss but she held back. He wasn’t even hers to begin with. Even if he was her first love, she couldn’t help but think about Jimin in a situation like this. He was Sohyun’s and she knew it although a special space in her heart belonged to him.
 

Sohyun looked at her time and it was starting to get late. She had been sitting at the park for almost two hours now and there was no sign of Miyeon.

“I knew I shouldn’t have come,” she grumbled to herself and looked around a few more times before getting up and leaving.

As she walked, she wished Miyeon would’ve showed up. She wanted to know the reason and Miyeon clearly had a space inside of her. They were like sisters. She missed her.

“She could’ve showed up,” she mumbled on her way bitterly.
