Gun’s POV

I can only watch my brother’s retreating figure as we walks out of the IC building. He must have felt hurt for what he witnessed and that Ai’ and I need to talk because I think Ai’White is only fooling around with my brother. I look around to find my Ai’Friend but he is missing. Maybe he is eating with Ai’Mean already, “Nong—have you seen Ai’Mean or Ai’Plan?” I asked this silent girl beside me.

It’s so unusual for Nong to be this silent but maybe it’s because she doesn’t know anyone from this building aside from Ai’Plan, Ai’Mean, and me. She looks at me and smile, “Don’t look for them na Gege. You will be shocked~” she answered me. Normally I understand Nong Heemi, but today—nope—I don’t understand her. “Why would I be shocked na woie Nong? They are just eating already na Nong.” I told her with conviction in my voice but Nong smiles at me wider, “Neh Gege—they are eating na kah. Probably eating each other na Gege.” Then I am so shocked when she raised her hand and, “P’White kah~” called out the guy that hurts my brother just now.

She walks toward Ai’White who’s still playing with the Nong that looks quiet pretty. “Nong Heemi~” Ai’White called her and even let go of the Nong that he has been hugging for a while. I roll my eyes with the sudden action, “Annyeong P’~” I turn to the other side because I am being a great P’ to Ai’Cap. I will not look at this cheating bastard in front of me right now. “Nong—why are you here?—” then he suddenly stopped mid sentences, “Ah—Sawadee khrab Ai’Gun~” I bet he wai at me but I’d rather to be called unmannered than wai back at this Ai’, “Wadee!” but at least I answered him back.

I heard Nong Heemi’s giggles while I am busy counting the windows in every classrooms here just for the sake of not looking at Ai’White, “Ignore Gege, P’, he is just upset because he cannot find P’Plan and P’Mean na kah and Cap Gege suddenly went back to their building.” I have this urge to pull Nong Heemi already but I didn’t do it, “Aw—so Ai’Cap was here? He didn’t message me na khrab. Should I send him message na Nong?” and he has the guts to asked Nong. I think this guy is worse than P’Mark.

Good thing Nong Heemi is smart, “Aw P’, I don’t think it’s good for you to message him now. I am not sure but Gege looks so upset just now and you look quite busy today.”

‘Busy my —he is busy playing with another Nong!’

Ai’Plan told me before that I can be like P’Hyuk when Ai’Cap is involved. I guess Ai’ is right—Ai’Cap is the only younger brother I have and I will be bias about him no matter if he’s wrong or not, “Actually Nong—I am really busy na khrab. I want to see Ai’Cap na soon but I need to finish my papers today. I will do it fast na khrab so that I can see Ai’Cap tomorrow.” I turn to the other side because I will have stiff neck soon, “Maybe—Gege will be happy na kah if you will inform him that you will be busy P’. Anyway P’, as much I want to talk to you—my baby worms inside my stomach are hungry. I need to eat na kah and Gun Gege is not feeding me anything. I better look for food P’. Bye bye~” when I heard Nong’s goodbyes, I quickly turn to her, grab her arm, and pull her out of that place.

“Ahm—goodbye na Ai’Gun~” I heard Ai’s goodbye to me but we already walk away from him.

Nong Heemi didn’t say anything—but I did, “That Ai’ is so annoying. Did you hear him Nong? He said that he is busy na khrab but I think he is just busy playing with that pretty Nong.” We continue walking and we are actually going to the IC cafeteria because I am hoping to see Ai’Plan or Ai’Mean, besides—Nong Heemi said she’s hungry so I need to buy her some food. I don’t want her to starve.

“Gege, I think you are being over protective with Cap Gege. It looks like P’White is really busy but we just misunderstood him or something na kah.” Why suddenly she’s defending him? “I know guys na khrab Nong. You are too young to judge guys. Ai’Cap looks hurt today and P’Gun is not happy about that.” I am very upset right now because of Ai’Cap.

Nong Heemi giggles, “You are really like Hyuk Oppa, Gege. You have a very strong sense of justice and you love your brothers so much na kah. I wish I have a sibling.” I suddenly slow down when I heard her sad tone. Nong Heemi is like a family to me now, “Woie, Nong! I am your brother na khrab,” I announced before walking faster again. Nong suddenly squeeze my hand that has been pulling her, “Kamsahamnida na Gege. Hyuk Oppa is right. You and Cap Gege are really special.” And I have this smile on my face because I know I made Nong smile.

‘I hope P’Heechul will show affection to her too. I feel bad when P’ keeps on shouting or not trying to defend Nong.’

We continue walking towards the cafeteria. I am also starving because I was about to eat lunch today when Nong showed up s suddenly. We were about to take a quick turn to the right to enter the cafeteria when suddenly, “Opps~” I stopped and Nong bumped her head on my back making her shriek a little, “Gege—why did you suddenly stop na kah?” She asked me but I am too speechless to say something.

I haven’t seen this P’ for few days already, “Ah—” I said but, “Excuse me,” he bows his head and walks pass me like I am some sort of stranger. Instantly my forehead forms a frown, “Omona Gege, who is that daddy na kah?” Nong asked me but I am still upset that he easily ignores me, “P’Mark na Nong,” I answered her unconsciously.

‘What do you expect na Gun? He said he will not bother you na woie. He his doing is part.’

“Very handsome na kah, Gege~” this Nong is still dreamy about P’Mark but I cannot help but feel bother on how P’ acts just now. “Woie! It doesn’t matter na kah!” I said suddenly and started walking with Nong following behind me.

I called P’Hyuk already that Nong Heemi is here in my college building. Soon I will have my class so I hope my P’ will get Nong already—but right now she’s busy talking to Ai’Title who miraculously came back just before the end of our lunch break and he’s here in my classroom. I thought Nong was mad at Ai’Silent but when Ai’ came back with a box of pizza, Nong Heemi started talking nicely to him again. Maybe Nong is hungry again—I wonder where she’s putting all the food in her stomach.

By the way, I wasn’t able to find Ai’Plan in IC cafeteria but he is here in the classroom when I come back. He has this annoying smile on his lips. I sit next to him at the back part of the room, “Ai’Smiley, why are you smiling like crazy na woie?” I asked him because I will not get my peace of mind unless I will know what’s happening. Maybe that’s the reason why Ai’Cap keeps on telling me that I am nosy. Ai’Plan looks at me, “I am just happy na krab Ai’My friend because Mean and I are going on a trip na khrab after Songkran. We will go to Phi Phi na Ai’—just us and not with friends.” That explains why.

I also smile because I know that Ai’Plan is happy. He has been dying to go on a vacation with Ai’Mean but there are so many interruptions so they cannot push thru the plan. “Woie Ai’ you should go with me in the mall na khrab before we go on a vacation. I need to buy some clothes and stuff na khrab.” I love shopping so I nod eagerly.

When Ai’Plan told me before than he is in love with that Ai’Always angry, I was a bit hesitant. Ai’Mean is not the usual IC student—he has an impressive family background so I feel bad for some reason to Ai’Plan. I don’t want him to get hurt by rich people. It’s true because whenever I watch Lakorn, the rich people normally look down at poor people. Aside from that, Ai’Mean is arrogant to all people so I don’t know why Ai’Mean is suddenly interested to Ai’Plan.

“Woie Ai’, did Ai’Mean introduce you to his family na khrab?” I asked him so suddenly. Ai’Plan looks shocked by my sudden question, “Why na khrab?” He asked me but he still has that shocked look on his face. I shake my head in instant, “I am just curious Ai’. You told me before that you are having problem na khrab with Ai’Mean’s family.” Am I being straightforward? But I am really curious right now.

Ai’Plan is the craziest person I’ve known and that smile on his face is always there. I’ve only seen him cry once—that was the time I almost killed Ai’Mean but Ai’Cap stopped me and instead he punched Ai’Mean for me and for Ai’Plan. Ai’Cap told me after that if I am the one who went to IC that time, I might probably kill Ai’Mean. That’s the reason why even though Ai’Mean and Ai’Plan are okay now, I am still not okay with Ai’Mean.

Right now, Ai’Plan looks sad, “We tried na khrab—but I got scared na khrab and Mean didn’t want to push me so much so he said he will try to talk to them for me. But whenever I ask Mean, he keeps on telling me to wait na khrab. I am not really in a rush and beside—Mean khrab knew my family already. I am glad that my Mae loves him so much and my Pa said he will not be in the way because parents should provide all of the happiness for their children na woie so I am so proud that my parents are accepting.” I’ve met Ai’Plan’s family and they are almost the same with my parents.

I laugh “So they accepted their son-in-law na woie. All you need is the wedding date Ai’. You need to tell me na khrab so I can ask P’Hyuk for money na khrab~” I joked around to lighten the mood. I know how much Ai’Plan loves Ai’Mean. The kind of love that I don’t really believe before but witnessed it with my friend. “Woie—you crazy Ai’.” He hit my head lightly which we both laugh it off.

“But Ai’, thank you na khrab. When I was depressed before because of Mean, you were there. When I begged you not to do anything to him even though he hurt me—you stopped yourself and even Ai’Cap helped me. I was really afraid na khrab telling you before about Mean and I because I don’t want you to be disgusted by me but you are special to me na Ai’ so I choose to tell you even if you get mad at me. Actually, even though Mean is always mad and looking bad at you—you are my only friend Ai’ that he wants me to hang out with. He said that you are good for me and I am good for you na khrab and that kind of friendship is something he respects. I don’t understand most of his explanations but I understand that he likes you. So I hope Ai’, in the future—you will be able to find forgiveness to Mean.” I scratch my head by Ai’s long speech.

Maybe—I really need to give Ai’Mean another chance. But I also hope this time he won’t off again like last time.

“Okay—I’ll try na khrab!”

I will be on a vacation over the weekend so either I will update Sunday night or Monday.
