Golden Quill - The Leaders (GQ3)September dropped Sung-kyung off on the Woo Estate, “Thank you for what you did. I know it was not easy.”
“It was easier than I thought to face him. I know you think he’s a good man but every man has a monster hiding in him. It just takes the right prey to bring it out.” They turned to look toward the stables where the horses were being brought in from the fields.
“It’s really peaceful out here.”
Sung-kyung nodded as she shielded her face from the late afternoon sun. “They get brought in earlier during the winter months.”
“What will you do tomorrow?”
“I think I should visit my parents. They were too old to travel up for the launch and they think I’m a very bad daughter for not making time to visit them.”

“Me too…” September gripped the steering wheel. Arran stared for a bit then turned to look out the window. It was misting up and she drew a squiggle and wiped the wetness off her finger across her coat.
“What do you want to do?” September asked casually, “You have me till 7.”
“All to myself.” Arran murmured. “I’m spoilt for choice. Should we screw around? Rent a hotel room, go hunting one last time?”
September didn’t reply.
“Would you refuse?”
“Something happened with Taeyoon ssi. You’re wound up.”
Arran breathed out slowly, “She . That unnie…” she brought her hands
