Sorry for the late update!

I'll only be able to update once tomorrow but I'll try to make that as long as possible in the time I get.

And in the following week, since I'm preparing for my audition on Friday, the chapters wont be very good, please understand!

I try to update twice a day or really good and long chapter per day after my audition~! :)

Jessica's POV

I was sprinting on down the dark alleyway.

The heavy footsteps that followed me rang louder in my ears as each second passed.

Not another lifeform was around apart from me, the runner and the chaser behind me.

Only the dim moonlight showed the outlines of the objects in my way.

Long brick walls on either side of me seemed to close in on me more and more.

My breathing was uneven and harsh.

A sharp electrical feeling ran through my chest and my legs gave in.

My limp body fell helplessly to the ground.

A mocking laughter echoed through the empty area.

The clomping of his shoes slowed and it tortured me to hear it.

He knew I couldn't run away any further.

He knew he had caught me.

He knew he had much time to slowly and painfully take me away from life.

As hope fluttered out of me and into the cold atmosphere, a sillouette appeared ahead of me.

The sillouette was unmistakable - Kimg JongHyun.

I yelled as loud as I could to him for help.

However, my voice didn't leave my throat as another sillouette - a female walked into JongHyun's arms.

They held each other for what seemed like an eternity.

When they finally broke their hug and started walking away, the footsteps behind me stopped.

The distance between me and the chaser had been closed dramatically, so now, only a mere step would put my figure under his shoe.

I shivered as a cold wind blew across the alleyway and swept the sillouettes away.

Another mocking laughter filled my ears and suffocated my brain.

A hand gripped my arm.

I struggled and gasped.

I couldn't breathe.

No oxygen was flowing through my lungs.

Then.....

Pure darkness.

Did I faint?

Did I.....

Die?

Wait.

A voice.....

A familiar voice.....

?????: Jessica? Wake up! Jessica!

Tiffany's POV

I woke up at 6.40am.

Usually I would never wake up before my alarm went off, but for some reason, my eyes decided to open and I couldn't go back to sleep.

So I sat in bed, waiting for some noises outside of the room to indicate that someone besides me was awake.

As I slumped against the headboard of the bed, I heard Jessica shifting in her bed, making me look in her direction.

Then she started shivering.

It wasn't cold in the room, so I started to worry.

I got out of bed and walked towards her.

By then, her shivering got more uncontrollable and she was gasping like she was having trouble breathing.

Tiny beads of sweat were forming on her forehead too.

Panicking, I pulled the blanket off her and shook her gently by the shoulders.

No response came and her shivering was now more like shaking uncontrollably.

I held her arms down and called her name gently.

Was she having a nightmare?

Poor Jessica.

Me: Jessica? Wake up! Jessica!

Suddenly, her eyes opened and she panted in an uneven pattern like she had never felt oxygen flow in her before.

Me: Jessica, are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?

Her eyes searched the room before they finally landed on me.

Jessica: This guy..... He..... I was running and..... JongHyun..... He left with..... I thought I was going to..... I thought I was dead.....

I pulled her into a tight hug.

I felt so sorry for Jessica.

She must've felt so heartbroken if her nightmares were this bad.

Me: Don't think about death..... It's just  a nightmare.

Jessica wrapped her arms around me and sobbed into my shoulder.

The wetness seeped through my shirt, but I didn't really mind.

It would be good for her to get all the tears out before another one of our tiring days started.

The sobbing continued for a while before it turned into crying.

Not loud, but not exactly very quiet either.

I heard the door creak open and I turned my head, trying to see who it was.

SooYoung's head was peeking through and she seemed very worried.

Jessica didn't seem to have noticed SooYoung or she didn't care that she was here.

SooYoung came in and quickly closed the door behind her.

SooYoung: Is she okay?

She whispered lightly, taking a seat at the bed.

Me: Just a nightmare..... It must've shaken her up alot though.....

SooYoung nodded and continued to stare at Jessica worriedly.

Jessica looked up a few seconds later and flopped back into her bed.

Jessica: Sorry I woke you guys up.....

She broke the silence that had replaced her crying.

Me: No, you didn't wake me up. I was already awake.

SooYoung: Me too.

Woah.....

SooYoung up this early?

No way.

Jessica: SooYoung, you're never up this early unless someone wakes you up.

SooYoung: Er..... You see, I was..... Texting someone.....

Jessica giggled and I couldn't help but smile.

At least she seems a little better now.

So for people who might be confused.....

All of Jessica's POV is in her nightmare.

I was going to italicize it, but then I decided not to, because I wanted it to be more scary.

And since its in Jessica's POV and she thinks it's happening in real life, not a nightmare, it shouldn't have to be differently presented, right?

Well, I say yes~! ^^

It's nearly midnight now O_O

I'm supposed to be asleep, but my Dad fell asleep downstairs so I could sneak my laptop into my room and type this up for you guys! :)

Hope you like it, thought it might b a little nonsense-ish since I'm tired at the moment now @_@
