“I need to go… again.” Jimin declared with a loud dramatic sigh.

Hoseok who was sitting beside him shook his head after taking a glance at his disturbed face. It wasn’t the first or second time that Jimin had to leave in a rush because of her. They were just sat down to chill and joke about the stupid things people do when Jimin had to leave again, so abruptly.

“Why she has to be such a troublemaker?” Hoseok pouted, sulking over losing his company.

Jimin turned to him alerted. “Hey, she doesn’t do it on purpose.”

Hoseok shook his head again. Yep, Jimin was overprotective toward her. Everything she did was right and pure beauty. Hoseok had learned that it would be called unconditional love but he knew that Jimin couldn’t have that kind of feeling toward her. Well, At least he shouldn’t have.

Suddenly his expression darkened. “It’s all because of her damned boyfriend. He is such a jerk to her. Sometimes I really want to kill him because of the things he does to her.”

Hoseok’s laughter echoed. “It’s my first time hearing that a guardian angel wants to kill someone.”

Jimin wasn’t pleased with his remark about his status. Yeah, he was a guardian angel. He was only there to protect her. He didn’t have any rights to interfere or tell her what to do or what not to do. From that point of view, he was such a weak creature however from another point of view, he could save her anytime

“This is not funny.” Jimin gritted his teeth.

Hoseok stopped chucking and glanced back at him seriously. “So what are you going to do?”

Slowly and gracefully, Jimin spread out his shining silver wings and stood up from the cloud they were sitting on. “I’m going to talk to her.”

Hoseok was now worried about him. “Just don’t do anything stupid, okay?”

Jimin just gave him a smile before he flew away but Hoseok found nothing but sadness in his smile.

Hoseok let out a deep sigh. He was genuinely worried about Jimin. He was sure that Jimin was trapped in the hollow that people called it love.

It didn’t take Jimin a lot of effort to find her. She was exactly where they’d met for the first time. Well to be more clear where she’d seen him for the first time because Jimin was with her since the moment she stepped into this world.

There was an abandoned place far from the crowd of main streets. She used to hang out with her friends there and do many stupid but fun things together. One of those stupid but not fun things was when they played truth or dare and she had to climb the crooked wall there and walked on it for some minutes.

She was afraid, but being a teenager meant she was fearless and also wanted to show off before her friends, especially that guy, the one who became her boyfriend later on.

Eventually, she climbed up the lower parts and climbed up till she was on top of the wall.

It was crazy.

Her friends were cheering for her but all she was thinking was how not to look down. But after all, she lost focus and one stumble was enough for her to fall off the wall to the opposite side.

She had to crash on the ground, break tones of bones, or maybe die. However, none of them happened. She was landed down so softly as if she landed on silk. Dazed, she opened her eyes and found out that she was really on silk.

His blinding silver wings which were spread out under her were the most beautiful things she had ever seen. She turned around and his two sparkling eyes were focused on her. His eyes were the warmest yet saddest eyes she’d seen.

Then he broke the eye contact and in a blink of an eye he disappeared and she was left alone on the ground. Seconds later her friends were circling her with loud screams of how they thought something really bad happened to her. Something really bad meant to be happening but the strange guy saved her from it.

That night she lied on her bed still confused about earlier. The few scars on her body were still reminding that she could have died if it wasn’t for the silver wings.

All of sudden he appeared in front of her. She screamed out loud but he was as confused as her.

“Do you see me?” He asked in the softest and warmest voice in the world.

She had many things going on inside her brain but to his soft voice, she just nodded yes.
