Why isn’t he kissing me yet?

You almost blushed at the thought floating in your head but you couldn’t help thinking about it. It was your third date and the guy walking by your side along the Han river wasn’t making a move toward you. Well you hadn’t even held hands, maybe thinking about kissing was too much but you were too into Kim Taehyung that you wanted something to click between you two.

Maybe he doesn’t like me… maybe he is planning to call it off after this date…

“Hey.” Taehyung called you. “Wanna rent bikes?”

Snapping out your thoughts, you glanced at Taehyung and followed his finger pointing at a bicycle lane with your eyes.

“Yeah.” You nodded, drifting back to your thoughts. What if he doesn’t see these as dates… but no… he clearly asked me to be his girlfriend… maybe three dates weren’t enough…or what if I’m not attractive enough… yeah… he’s having second thoughts… that’s it…

You were following Taehyung to the renting area without paying much attention to what was going around you. As a result, you didn’t notice the two teenage boys messing around with their bikes. One of them started accelerating away and unintentionally toward you. But Taehyung was quick to see the trouble coming and before the bike would collide to you, he wrapped his arms around your shoulder and waist, holding you close he leaned in and protected you with his whole body.

You blinked. All you could see was Taehyung’s chest, all you could smell was his manly cologne and all you could feel was his rapid heartbeat and panting that made his chest go up and down. You gulped. He was so close and you were frozen, well except your heart that was racing.

Taehyung hugged you impulsively to protect you and didn’t have any further purpose. When he stopped yelling at the boy who had almost hit you, he glanced at you to check your wellbeing. He gulped surprised finding that he’d enveloped you
