The sun was setting on the beach as Taeyeon and Sooyeon sat in the white sand playing with its softness with their feet, “It is so beautiful here.”
Taeyeon smiled shyly, “more beautiful with you here.”
Sooyeon laughed, “to be honest it is strange hearing you say such words like that to me. I am used to goofy and silly Taeyeon. You being romantic is…new.”
“You don’t like?”
Sooyeon laughed, “No…I just never imagined something like this could be real. I wanted this to be real for so long. I might be rambling a bit.”
“I get it.” Taeyeon buried her feet in the sand and turned to Sooyeon, “I wanted this for a long time too, but you know…how could I imagine that you would feel the same knowing my past? Then one day, I woke and realized, I had to take a chance. I couldn’t wait any longer.”
“I am so glad you are braver than me…”
Taeyeon smiled, “I am not brave. I just have a little bit of brain damage making me do rash things.”
Sooyeon laughed as she leaned forward and kissed Taeyeon’s forehead, “I am glad you are a little damaged.”
“Me too.” Taeyeon said shyly.
