Taeyeon knocked on the door to her bedroom, “Baby can I come in please. We should at least talk.”

Waiting for a few moments, Taeyeon was happy to see her girlfriend open the door for her after a whole day being locked out.

Walking in carefully, Taeyeon didn’t sit on the bed with her girlfriend, but chose to stand across from her, “Can I tell you what happened before you kick me out?” Nodding in reply, Taeyeon sighed in relief, “First, I don’t agree I am 100% innocent but I need to tell you that I didn’t initiate anything, I didn’t feel anything, and I still want to be with you. I don’t need you to forgive me but can we please talk this out?”

The girl on the bed shifted before standing up and kissing Taeyeon. Taeyeon was shocked that her girlfriend got up and kissed her but without hesitation, Taeyeon kissed back and poured in all her feelings. Eventually the girl backed away and went back to sitting on the bed, “I did see you kiss Tiffany back.”

Taeyeon sighed, “I did.”

“But you didn’t kiss her like you kiss me.”

Taeyeon thought back to the night but she didn’t remember any particular way she kissed Tiffany, “what do you mean?”

“Taeyeon you kiss me with passion…what I saw with Tiffany was different? Maybe not passion but lust? I am not sure…are you attracted to her?”

“A little but I don’t want to be with her.”

“You just wanted to sleep with her?”

“No! And I didn’t. I swear only you have seen what is underneath my clothes.”

The girl laughed a bit, “Ok ok…I am not going to lie that I was hurt seeing you kiss another woman but I do believe you. Do you really want to have this relationship work?”

“Why wouldn’t I? I am here begging for you to forgive me.”

The other woman nodded, “Ok. Relationship comes with trust and I will have to believe you. What are you going to do about Tiffany?”

“I already told her I didn’t want to see her again. She crossed a line with me…with us.”

“Alright.” The other woman said whilst getting off the bed.

“Alright? That’s it? No thousand lashes or y time for a month?”

The woman turned back to Taeyeon with a heavy sigh, “Taeyeon…I love you and I want us to move past this. If we are going to make this relationship work, I will put all my trust in you to not do this again.”

Taeyeon went to stand in front of her girlfriend, “please believe me, I won’t. I-I don’t want to be with anyone else so that is why I wanted to ask you…” Taeyeon went down on one knee, “let’s make this a lasting promise…will  you marry me?”

The woman stood there in shock, “Taeyeon…”

“I know this isn’t the best time or the most romantic place I can think of, but please let me show you the rest of my life that I promise to only look at you, to only kiss you, and take care of you like the princess you are.”

The younger girl helped Taeyeon up, “Taeyeon I don’t know if I can…”

“Please. We have moving this direction for a while now…if you won’t take this as an engagement ring, can we at least make this a promise ring? A really really expensive promise ring?”

The girl looked down at the beautiful diamond, “I don’t know…”

“Please don’t let Tiffany tear us apart…” Taeyeon was on the verge of tears waiting to hear the answer.

“Taeyeon…how could you think I would take this as a promise ring? It looks too much like an engagement ring.”

“So is that a yes?” Taeyeon said with a gummy smile.

The woman wondered if this really was the best decision or not but Taeyeon looked sincere in asking for her hand, “Ok.” Taeyeon jumped in shock and quickly fumbled to put the ring on her finger, “but Taeyeon you have to promise me that this thing with Tiffany is over.”

Taeyeon was quick to kiss her fiancé before crossing her heart, “Tiffany is out of our lives for good. I swear.”
