No One’s POV

 

 

“Hi guys! Sorry if I was late, again. Traffic” Ha Rin said quickly as she rushed inside Leeteuk’s house that night and sat down beside Kangin in his living room.

 

“Finally! Leeteuk oppa insisted that we wait for you before he say anything, so now that you’re here. Oppa?” Ae Rin said and looked at Leeteuk impatiently.

 

“Yeah, what’s this announcement that you were on about that you have to call us urgently. What happened?” Kyuhyun asked keenly.

 

“And there goes the youngest being so eager again.” Kangin, Ha Rin and Min Gi stated in unison.

 

“Just tell us already!” Kyuhyun and Ae Rin demanded.

 

“Woah! Alright! Min Young and I, we’re a couple now, officially.” Leeteuk announced with a big smile on his face and Min Young was grinning from ear to ear too.

 

There was an awkward silence around the room as their friends remained expressionless as if they didn’t hear anything.

 

“Seriously? That’s what you called an urgent matter?” Kyuhyun asked disapprovingly.

 

“What are you guys playing on?” Min Young questioned their friends in confusion.

 

“Aigoo! That seemed to be it guys.” Kangin said.

 

“Oh! Right! I’m hungry! What food have you got for us oppa?” Ae Rin asked as she stood up and came to the kitchen with Min Gi.

 

“GUYS! I just said something big and that’s what you’re giving us? What’s going on?” Leeteuk yelled out in frustration.

 

“WE ALREADY KNOW!” All of their friends shouted not surprised at all.

 

“What?! But we haven’t told anyone yet and it was just this morning that…”

 

“Cut the crap unnie, you’ll just waste your words. We knew it already, from the very start.” Ha Rin spoke up.

 

“Yeah, we were just waiting for you guys to realize it on your own, you two delayed each other for no reason. Aigoo!” Kangin expressed.

 

“I second the motion!” Kyuhyun exclaimed as he begun to play with Leeteuk’s PS3 plugged in the living room.

 

“But nevertheless, we’re still happy for the both of you.” Ha Rin muttered and smiled at the couple.

 

“We already were, a long long time ago.” Kangin corrected her.

 

“Food! Food! Food!” Min Gi and Ae Rin cheered as they brought in chips and a bottle of soda to the living room.

 

“Oohhh—“

 

Ha Rin was cut off as she heard her phone ring. She fished it out from her pouch bag instantly.

 

When she saw who the caller was, curiosity crept onto her quick so with no hesitations she answered it.

 

“What’s up?” She asked casually.

 

“Go home. I need your help, Donghae’s coming over.” Eunhyuk commanded firmly.

 

“What? Why would I do that? When you walked out on me earlier huh?” Ha Rin reminded him.

 

“Just go home.” Eunhyuk said.

 

“No! I don’t—“

 

“Can’t you just do what I say and go home, like NOW!” Eunhyuk demanded with emphasis.

 

“Fine, I’ll be on my way.” Ha Rin obeyed eventually and hung up the phone.

 

“Aiishh! I have to go home; Eunhyuk said he wants me in the house like now.” Ha Rin grunted and sighed in loss.

 

“Since when did you start following his orders around?” Kangin questioned her and raised an eyebrow.

 

This question made her think for some time as she didn’t know what to tell him anyway.

 

“What does he need from you?” Min Young asked her.

 

“His friend’s coming over to the house.” Ha Rin said.

 

“I have an idea! Why don’t we all go to your house so we could meet Eunhyuk’s friend too?” Leeteuk suggested earnestly.

 

As Ha Rin thought about his idea, she looked at all her friends around with convincing smiles on their faces.

Eunhyuk opened the door for Ha Rin as she rang the doorbell and was surprised to see all her friends behind her.

 

He then gave her a look. “This is my house too, its up to me if I want to have guests.” Ha Rin snapped.

 

Eunhyuk didn’t say anything and opened the door widely for her friends to enter instead.

 

“Where’s your friend Eunhyuk-ssi?” Leeteuk asked him.

 

“He’s on his way.” Eunhyuk answered simply as he closed the door.

 

“Why did you ask for our dongsaeng to come home then?” Kyuhyun questioned inquisitively.

 

“Follow me Ha Rin-ssi.” Eunhyuk commanded and ignored Kyuhyun’s nosiness.

 

Kyuhyun glared at Ha Rin as she smiled at him apologetically and followed Eunhyuk to the kitchen.

Eunhyuk’s POV

 

 

“Help me with these.” I said as I bent down to open the lower cabinet here in the kitchen.

 

Ha Rin crouched down beside me and eye the food in front of us. “Did you cook all these?” She asked.

 

“Of course not! I ordered all of that!” I whispered in her ear factually.

 

Ha Rin giggled. “I was about to be amazed that you can do all these on your own. But thanks for clarifying though.” She told me.

 

She then noticed the box of the pizza as she got it out from the cabinet. “This was the one I brought home before right?” She asked me.

 

“Yes, and all these came from their restaurant too.” I informed her.

 

“Alright! Let’s do this; I can hear my friends’ stomachs growling from here.” Ha Rin said as she took out the pizza from its box.

 

“Just so you know, I bought ice cream too.” I told her.

 

Her face lit up excitedly as she looked at me. “Really?! What flavor?” She asked.

 

“Chocolate.” I said.

 

“Great! Now you know what I want!” She exclaimed with a big smile on her face that I couldn’t help but smile too.

 

 

End of Eunhyuk’s POV

 

 

No One’s POV

 

 

As Eunhyuk and Ha Rin were preparing the food they heard the doorbell rang. “Please open the door oppa!” Ha Rin yelled out.

 

“Alright!” Leeteuk heard her and stood up from his seat beside Min Young quickly.

 

He opened the door and scrutinized the person in front of him from head to toe unconsciously.

 

“Ha Rin-ah!” Leeteuk called out for her and kept his stare at the new guest.

 

“Oh! You’re here! Come in!” Ha Rin said as she held Donghae by the wrist and went inside.

 

“YAH! He’s here!” Ha Rin yelled out and Eunhyuk came from the kitchen to welcome his friend.

 

“This is my friend Donghae, Lee Donghae.” Eunhyuk introduced him in front of Ha Rin’s friends.

 

“And they are my friends, Kangin oppa, Kyuhyun oppa, Min Gi, Ae Rin, Leeteuk oppa who opened the door for you and lastly Min Young unnie.” Ha Rin said one by one.

 

Donghae smiled shyly and bowed. After the introductions Eunhyuk and Ha Rin came back to the kitchen.

 

Donghae towed behind them without notice. Eunhyuk turned around and raised an eyebrow at his friend.

 

“You should get back there, we’re still preparing here.” Eunhyuk said and looked at Ha Rin for help.

 

“Dongsaengdeul!” Ha Rin yelled out all of a sudden and in an instant Min Gi and Ae Rin were by her side.

 

“Please keep Donghae companied alright?” Ha Rin asked them.

 

Min Gi and Ae Rin smiled widely at her and gazed at Donghae. “We sure will! Let’s go?” The two girls said and link arms with him on each side and walked back to the living room.

 

“So, where on earth did you came from and why are you friends with that nerd?” Ae Rin questioned Donghae as they sat down in between him on the couch.

 

Donghae gave out a low chuckle. “I came from China but I was born here originally and Eunhyuk and I have been friends since we were kids.” He said.

 

“Oh, but you know what, compared to him you’re hotter and more good-looking.” Min Gi complimented him in a straightforward manner.

 

“Min Gi-yah!” Min Young spoke up and gave her a reprimanding look as she was sitting beside Leeteuk across them.

 

Donghae then got the chance to look at her straight in the eyes. “Its okay Min Young-ssi.” He reassured her with a warm smile. Min Young smiled back.

 

From then on, Min Gi and Ae Rin continued on asking him questions and at the same time Donghae took glances on Min Young.

 

Leeteuk was watching his every move and he frowned as he noticed him taking glances on Min Young beside him.

 

Min Young then stood up, “Where are you going?” Leeteuk asked her.

 

“I’ll go and check on Ha Rin and Eunhyuk.” She said and came to the kitchen.

 

“Do guys need help?” Min Young offered.

 

“No need unnie, we’re good, thanks.” Ha Rin declined with a smile.

 

“Dude, let me help you with that.” Donghae muttered as he was suddenly standing beside Min Young.

 

“We can handle this.” Eunhyuk said.

 

“Yah! that won’t fit in there! You’ll waste if—“

 

“No! I know what I’m doing! Just help me hold this one!” Eunhyuk demanded and Ha Rin obeyed.

 

“You’re counting it the wrong way again Ha Rin-ssi.” Eunhyuk told her.

 

“What? This is exact, see!” Ha Rin pointed out. Eunhyuk just sighed and ignored her instead.

 

They didn’t know that Min Young and Donghae we’re still standing there watching the two of them.

 

“They argue like an old couple.” Min Young muttered and giggled softly.

 

“I agree, and they look good together. I wonder if they would think the same if it was us.” Donghae whispered in her ear.

 

“W-what?” Min Young stuttered and froze as she stood. Donghae smiled and smirked at her and went to Eunhyuk as he called him for help.

 

Min Young was dazed as Ha Rin approached her with plates and utensils on her hand and handed some to her.

 

“Are you okay unnie?” Ha Rin asked her in concern.

 

“W-what?”

 

“Is there something wrong?” Ha Rin questioned again anxiously.

 

“No, nothing. I’m just hungry.” Min Young lied and lowered her head.

 

“Alright, let’s go.” Ha Rin said and they both came to the living room where everyone was.

 

“Let’s dig in everyone!” Ha Rin announced and in an instant they attack the food laid on top of the center table like hungry beasts.

 

Unconsciously, Eunhyuk and Ha Rin were sitting beside each other on the couch that exactly fitted the two of them.

 

“Here, have a taste of this Ha Rin-ssi.” Eunhyuk said as he put a portion of his pasta on her plate.

 

“I heard this is their best-seller.” He added.

 

“Everyone says that in every dish they have, you shouldn’t be that gullible—“

 

“Wow! This is delicious!” Ha Rin cut herself off as she chewed the pasta’s noodles appetizingly.

 

Eunhyuk laughed. “Now you’re calling me gullible huh?” He told her.

 

“A nerd like you still gullible whether you like it or not, it runs in your veins I can feel it.” Ha Rin said as she continued on eating.

 

“Yeah, you’re right. I’ll admit that I can really be naïve.” Eunhyuk confessed and took a bite from his pizza.

 

“You—“

 

Eunhyuk was about to say something but choked himself. Ha Rin widened her eyes as she was alarmed and took his glass with his favorite strawberry milk in it.

 

“Drink, come on.” Ha Rin said and helped him as she held the glass for him.

 

Eunhyuk smiled thankfully as Ha Rin handed him his glass and got her own with strawberry milk on it too.

 

“Since when did you like strawberry milk too?” Eunhyuk asked her in surprise.

 

“It grew on me, and besides I like it.” Ha Rin said and her lips freeing it from milk stains.

 

They went on eating and talking among themselves as if no one’s around but what the two didn’t know that all their friends around were watching them all along.

 

“Since when did it they start being so comfortable with each other?” Min Gi asked in suspicion.

 

“Look at how they both help each other out, its like they’re feeding each other but in a different way.” Ae Rin muttered.

 

“In a caring yet very sweet way.” Donghae and Min Young blurted out at the same time. This made them gazed at each other in shock.

 

Min Young looked away quickly and fed Leeteuk. “All these food are delicious, who cooked it?” Leeteuk asked as he didn’t notice the exchanged of glances that occurred.

 

“I just or—“

 

“Oh! The two of us cooked all of these as we took our time earlier.” Ha Rin cut him off with a grin on her face.

 

Ha Rin’s friends shot the two of them a doubtful look including Donghae. Ha Rin nudged Eunhyuk.

 

“Try and look convincing at least.” Ha Rin muttered under her breath keeping her smile on.

 

“O-o-oh yeah! Of course!” Eunhyuk exclaimed.

 

“Congratulations, you two make a good team, in cooking good food at least.” Leeteuk complimented.

 

Eunhyuk then looked around the room and he noticed something. A smirk played on his lips.

 

“Donghae likes Min Young.” He murmured in Ha Rin’s ear out of the blue.

 

Ha Rin widened her eyes at him in astonishment. “How can you say that?” She whispered back in disbelief.

 

“See for yourself.” Eunhyuk mumbled and with that Ha Rin looked from her friend to Donghae and she understood what he meant instantly.

 

“You’re right, Donghae kept his stare on Min Young unnie, until now. But this can’t be.” Ha Rin told him.

 

“And why is that?” Eunhyuk asked her raising an eyebrow.

 

Kangin then observed that Eunhyuk and Ha Rin were about whispering to each other and couldn’t help but speak up.

 

“Its rude to mumble just among you two if you know that you have guests around you know.” Kangin pointed out softly as he was the one sitting the closest to them.

 

Eunhyuk and Ha Rin didn’t seem to hear him or ignored what he said and went on with their conversation.

 

“Its impossible because Min Young unnie is with Leeteuk oppa, he won’t stand a chance.” Ha Rin informed him.

 

“He wouldn’t care, because if I was in his situation, I won’t stop loving the person even just from a far, I’ll be happy.” Eunhyuk said in a serious tone and looked right through her eyes.

 

Ha Rin let his words through her mind and including her heart instinctively as she stared back at him without realizing that their faces are only a few meters away from each other.
