Maki stood outside the school gates waiting for Top to pick her up. She couldn't help but feel slightly giddy. As she stood there she kept smiling to herself and she couldn't help but think, "Is this really happening to me right now? Am I seriously waiting here for a guy...to come pick me up...FOR A DATE?!" Who knew...

If only she noticed the figure that was leaning against a tree next to her watching her the whole time. Jae Joong stood there wondering what she was so happy about. She had been like that all day long. In her own little world smiling about nothing in particular. He'd even catch her giggling and have this 'oh my gosh' look on her face. It lifted his heart a bit to see her gorgeous smile, but it was still so unsettling to know that was not him who was bringing that smile to her face.

Then he saw the silver Land Rover that pulled up next to her, his heart felt like it had fallen into the pit of his stomach...no even further than that. She climbed in willlingly and they drove off...just like that. Jae Joong sighed and scratched the back of his head and made his way off school grounds, he needed to think and he needed to get away before Hye Su caught up to him.

Maki's father walked down the length of the outdoor shops picking up groceries for tonight's dinner. He saw a pretty faced young man sitting on a bench staring off into nothing, he knew that pretty face anywhere. "Jae Joong-ah?" He called out while walking up to the depressed figure.

"Hi Mr. Park."

"Hey are you ok?" He asked sitting down next to Jae Joong.

"Yes and no. Either way I'm still alive right?" He asked with a small smile.

An idea suddenly popped into his scheming mind. "Want to come over and help me cook? Maki should be home soon."

Jae Joong gave him a weird look, his brain slowly registared what Mr. Park was saying to him. "Riiight. Yes I have some new techniques that I think you might like...and I tried this new dish the other night but it's missing something. Maybe I need a second opinion?"

"Correct. C'mon son we have a dinner to destroy...errhmm I mean prepare." The two males stood up and left the bench, both in a 'better' mood.

Top walked Maki to her door, she turned to walk in but Top stopped her, "Wait a minute."

"What?" She asked turning back around to face him. He pushed her up against the door and planted a swift kiss on her lips.

He pulled away grinning, "I had to get that out of my system before we walked in there." She rolled her eyes and laughed as they both walked into the door. She walked in and stopped dead in her tracks. From the front door she could see Jae Joong's back clearly from inside the kitchen. He turned to look at them and he grinned and waved.

"Good evening kids, you guys ready for dinner? Jae Joong helped make an awesome dish tonight." Her father said coming from the hallway.

"AP-PAAA." Maki said in a sarcastic sweet voice.

"Yes?" He asked in a sweeter voice.

"May I speak to you outside?" She said through clenched teeth.

"Of course my beautiful daughter! I would never turn down an invitation to have a chat with you." They both walked out leaving the two guys to sit in the house alone. Top went and sat down on the couch and Jae Joong continued to mill about in the kitchen.

They both walked outside and Maki quickly turned to face her dad, "What are you doing?"

"What are you talking about?" He asked fegining innocence.

"Don't play coy with me...Why is Jae Joong here?"

"Eh? Can't you father invite people over as well? I bumped into him at the market and needed help with a new dish. He said yes."

Maki eyed her father, "Well let this be the last time he comes over."

"YAH! Who is the parent here?!"
