FLO POV

I was rummaging at my locker looking for a pen when a shadow fell on me. I looked up with a smile since it was usually Kai who did that. I looked up to meet the strange eyes of Kris.

“Kris? What are you doing here?” I ask him. I can see in the background the girls looking at him with interest.

“Well I decided that since I’m allowing you to help me might as well get the whole package.” He answered, smiling that small smile of his.

“Really? What package?” I ask finally looking at him on the whole. He was wearing our school uniform. “You’re going to study here?” I ask excitedly.  He nods.

“And the school administrator said that I was in your class so you can me there.” He answered.

“This is so cool. Luhan will be happy.” I said clapping happily and awkwardly since I’m wearing the sling again; I got that habit from Minny. Kris just looked at me seriously. “He will be ,right?” I ask uncertainly.

“Let’s go find out.” He said and swept his hand forward letting me walk ahead. I grinned; his movements reminded me of someone I met in England.

We walked to the classroom with me talking animatedly and Kris listening. A part of my mind is whining, asking for someone else. I shut her up and said that what she is looking for doesn’t want to talk to her or us. I walk ahead into the classroom beaming. My eyes landed on Kai. His back and his okay. Thank god.

“I have a surprise.” I sang to my classmates.

“What is it Flo?” Class rep asked.

“We have a new classmate.” I said and swept my hand to the door the same time Kris appeared.

My statement met silence as the class look at Kris, who was standing awkwardly at the door.

“So this is where you were going so early in the morning.” Luhan said finally recovering.

“Yeah. Hi.” Kris said still at the door.

“Come in Kris. You can wait for the teacher here.” I said and pointed to a seat behind me, it was the only vacant one. He’s seatmates with Baekhyun.  He silently walked to where I was pointing and sat down.

“Thanks Florence.” He said to me.

“You should start calling me Flo.” I answer, why are the other boys just staring at him and why do I feel a dark aura besides me?

“Flo…” He said. ”okay I can roll with that.” He said finally smiling more than his usual smile, but it disappeared instantly when he glanced to my left.  I looked too and see Kai glaring at him before looking back to the board.

“Kai, why didn’t you answer my calls?” I ask my seatmate. He didn’t answer. I tug on his arm. He pulled it away roughly.

“I was doing something.” He answered gruffly.

“You can have at least texted me.” I said.

“Didn’t have the time.” He answered.

“Seriously?” I ask not believing him.

“Whatever.” He said.

The teacher interrupted my retort at his curt reply.

“ahh I can see that the newcomer is here.” Teacher said smiling at Kris. “who brought you here?”

“Florence did sir.” Kris answered.

“Come on front and greet your classmates properly.” Teacher said.

Kris went to the front where he introduced himself properly and went back to his seat.

 Luhan beamed at Kris obviously happy to see him.

I didn’t manage to get lunch since I was in a meeting with class rep, seriously why does he like taking me along? I rarely say a word in the meetings and how does he survive not eating lunch? My
