It's been a while since Soyeon had a night off from her company, as someone who's always busy, she'd rather work non-stop rather than lazing around but her life had changed when she met Song Yuqi a year and a half ago. Yuqi was a college friend of Soyeon's partner and had returned to Seoul due to a job opportunity, they met on Minnie's birthday and hit off, Yuqi knew how to have fun, make people laugh, smile, and just have a good time.

Yuqi is a single mom who hadn’t dated anyone since her divorce and she had made it very clear that Shuhua came first in her life and it was important to Soyeon to understand and accept this fact or would it be better to just be friends. Yuqi often struggled with how to manage her time, between working and caring for Shuhua, Yuqi's family lived in Beijing and Shuhua's father stayed in Jeju so Yuqi depended on babysitters and Minnie and her wife's availability to go on dates with Soyeon, so most of their dates ended up being at home, which helped Soyeon get to know Shuhua better. It was awkward at first, Soyeon didn't have much contact with children and didn't know how to get close to Shuhua, the first time they saw each other the little girl was a little shy and maybe a bit scared of Soyeon, blushing and hiding behind Yuqi´s legs but now Shuhua is her biggest fan who doesn't want to let go of her when she shows up, the poor giant teddy bear is no longer needed for cuddles

-I LIKE TO MOVE IT, MOVE IT 

Shuhua had her eyes on the screen, making a silly face while singing along with King Julien, Shuhua’s been so excited to have Soyeon home that she hadn't left her alone, they played with Lego, Barbie and now they were watching a movie after dinner

-Shuhua, the neighbors

Shuhua just nodded but she continues to dance in front of the TV, she is a hyperactive child, she jumps up and down and runs around a lot 

-Sorry māma

Soyeon hummed the song softly as she adjusted herself on the sofá while Shuhua cuddled up next to her mother after getting tired of dancing

-Can we go to Africa?

There’s a big gap in her smile where she lost one of her baby teeth recently and Soyeon thinks it might be one of the cutest things she’s ever seen

-Africa?

-To see the lions

Yuqi and Soyeon just looked at each other and smiled

-Maybe next year's summer holidays

Shuhua opened a huge smile

-Can I take Jinjin too?

Soojin was Shuhua's best friend, a shy child who barely made any noise, unlike Shuhua.

-We have to see with her parents first

-But

-Shuhua...

-Fiiiiiiiiiine

Shuhua turned her attention to the film and the three continued to watch the film in silence, Yuqi was softly passing a hand through her hair, and Soyeon watched them with a fond smile on her lips.

-Jagiya

-Hmm?

-Shuhua is almost falling off the sofa

Yuqi looked down and saw that her daughter was fighting sleep, trying to finish watching the movie, good thing she had insisted that Shuhua brush her teeth and put on her Frozen themed pjs before they started the film.

-Piggy, let´s go to bed

Shuhua says something but it’s barely above a whisper, head lolling to the side.

-C’mere Piggy

Yuqi lifts Shuhua onto her hip and lean down, giving her a gentle kiss on the head

-I won't take long

Soyeon nods and decides to organize the room while Yuqi puts the girl to sleep. Soyeon took all the dishes to the kitchen and put them in the sink, she turned off the lights in the living room and went to Yuqi's room to wait for her.

-Sorry, she woke up again and I had to read her a story to sleep

Yuqi replied as soon as she entered the room, taking her time to appreciate Soyeon a crimson red nightgown

-Uow...this is new

 Soyeon just positioned herself better on the bed, leaving her legs exposed to Yuqi

-I thought you might like something new

Yuqi smirked

-I loved it jagiya

Yuqi leans in and kisses her fervently and there is a sudden rush of heat to her groin, she draws her even closer, Yuqi smirks at her before turning her head to kiss the base of her neck

 -Ugi...

 Soyeon shivers lightly at the feeling of Yuqi’s warm hands on her skin, muscles tensing under her touch.
