Soojin stood in front of the mirror in her bedroom, anxiously reconsidering the fifth outfit she’d put on in the last half hour, she ran her hands along her skirt and weaved her fingers in and out. She breathed and her eyes flicked around the room and back to Hoetaek, who was sat on her chair

-Are you all right Soojin?

-I´m nervous

-I don't see why you're nervous

Soojin stared at him with a nervous expression.

-You don't see why I'm nervous?

Hoetaek shrugged nonchalantly

-No, I don't. It´s Shuhua, The two of you are really good friends, right? And it's only a dinner and then a walk to the park

-Yes we are friends but this time it's different

-Because you expect her to kiss you at the end of the night?

Soojin immediately blushed, she had dreamt of the moment where she could be open about her feelings for so long that now it was actually happening there was no room for her to be afraid, right?

-Shut up oppa

-Everything will be fine, you've liked her for years

Hoataek spoke with a smile on his face and Soojin looked at him gratefully, most of their friends found it strange that they remained friends after the breakup but both of them had time to process and let hard feelings fade away, it took years for Soojin to accept that she was in love with Shuhua and when she could no longer deny her feelings she talked to Hoetaek, they had known each other for years and were friends before they started dating so it was easier to transition to friends again. Feelings can change and now they often talk about the girls they like and Soojin even helped choose a gift for his new girlfriend.

Soojin fixed her hair one last time, and turned to face him

-What do you think?

-You look beautiful
