Shuhua met Dakho one night with friends, despite being a bit childish he was charming and it didn't take long for them to exchange phones and start seeing each other. They were on their third date when Dakho mentioned that he had a 6 month old daughter with an ex girlfriend, her name was Hayun and she was the love of his life, Dakho complained that his ex girlfriend didn't take good care of their baby and only wanted his money, Shuhua just heard him complain about his ex in silence, when he finally stopped complaining Dakho asked Shuhua if she would mind helping him take care of Hayun when he needed it and she said she would help him, after that night they started dating

When Shuhua finally met Hayun she fell in love with her, she was one of the most beautiful babies she had ever seen with beautiful bright eyes and a shy smile, despite Dakho's claims Hayun didn't seem to be poorly taken care of, every time he picked her up from her mother's house she would arrive bathed, looking healthy with a bag full of clean clothes and powder milk. Through the process of helping Dakho  raise Hayun, Shuhua begun to realize that her boyfriend was not the wonderfull dad he claimed to be, he always went out and left her alone with Hayun and although they didn't live together Shuhua started to manage all of the household chores, she took care of Hayun, did groceries, cleaned while Dakho arrived late from work with a faint scent of soju on his breath.

Despite the red flags Shuhua ended up accepting to live together with Dakho, she thought the relationship would improve after they moved in together, unfortunately that didn't happen, as soon as they started living together Dakho became jealous and controlling, he always complained about the taste of food, that her clothes were underdone or that she didn't take good care of Hayun, the toddler had just turned a year old and was now spending more time with them, or rather with Shuhua, Dakho was never home claiming to be working overtime. Despite the problems with Dakho, Hayun and Shuhua's relationship was getting stronger, the toddler was Shuhua's happiness, the bond between them grew stronger and Shuhua considered Hayun her daughter.

A tearful Shuhua looked up as she heard someone looking for Hayun, she watched as the nurse pointed at her and the woman who had arrived walked towards her. As the woman approached Shuhua was startled by her resemblance to Hayun

-What happened?

The woman asked as she wiped the tears that were streaming down her face.

-Ma'am, please, this is a hospital and if you don't stop screaming, security will have to you out.

A nurse said approaching Soojin and she sighed

-I'm sorry... I'm just nervous

-I understand your situation, ma'am, but screaming won't solve anything, as soon as the doctor finishes attending to your daughter, he'll come talk to you

Soojin sat next to Shuhua and the two were silent, trying to calm down as tears streamed down their faces.

Soojin turned her attention to the woman beside her and could see that she was worried and nervous too, she didn't know Dakho's girlfriend but whenever Hayun came back from their house she was well taken care of and fed and she knew it was because of Shuhua
