After Shuhua's mother recovered she started to see Yuqi more often, by a coincidence of fate they studied at the same school, Yuqi's parents were very busy so instead of spending a few hours in the hospital or with a babysitter she often went to the Yeh's house after school, at first the Songs didn't want to abuse their hospitality but Mrs. Yeh insisted that Yuqi could stay with her whenever the Song needed it, Shuhua was having a hard time adapting to South Korea and Yuqi's company did her a lot of good.

Mrs Yeh started to take Yuqi and Shuhua to the playground near their house, she had invited Shuang too, but the Yeh's eldest in her 10s already thought that playgrounds was boring, she preferred to spend her free time with the friends she had made in the building where they lived. Shuhua and Yuqi would spend their afternoons running and jumping in the monkey bars, trying out all the toys in the playground while Mrs Yeh keep an attentive eye on them, ready to run up to them with bandaids if they fell, especially Shuhua, she always managed to get small cuts and scrapes while running around

One day when they arrived at the playground the swings are occupied by a group of four girls, they looked older than Shuhua and Yuqi even though one of them was quite small, Yuqi didn't care much for them but Shuhua stood there staring at them

-What´s the matter Shu?

Yuqi followed Shuhua's gaze and noticed that she was looking at the girl who was pushing the smaller one on the swing, the girl had her hair in two pigtails and was wearing pink pants and a gray cardigan

-Do you know them?

Shuhua just shook her head

-C'mon Shu, let's play

They played at the monkey bars for a long time, they had forgotten about the girls in swing until

-Do you speak Chinese?

Shuhua and Yuqi looked to the side and the four girls were standing next to them, the girl who had asked them was the tallest among them with bangs and a big smile

-Yes we speak chinese

Yuqi replied and could see that the other girls were looking at them confused.

-That´s cool, I am learning Chinese along with my older brothers

-Really? Why?

The girl shrugged

-I don´t know, my name is Nicha Yontararak but you can call me Minnie, these are my friends, Soyeon, Miyeon and Soojin
