A student held out the small heart-shaped box of chocolates in trembling hands, bowing

-I understand if you don’t return my feelings but I wanted to tell you

The others students could tell that Soojin didn’t return his feelings by the way she looked everywhere but him and how she uncomfortably looked at the box

-Jung Doyun, I appreciate the chocolates but I can't accept them

The boy looked at her embarrassed

-Are you dating someone?

-I'm not dating but there's someone I like a lot so it wouldn't be fair to accept your gift, I hope you understand me

-I understand...

The boy walked away and Soojin sighed, she had boys and girls from all over the school confessing their feelings for her and she hated seeing the disappointment on their faces when she rejected their gifts, she knew all too well what it was like to like someone and root for that your feelings were reciprocated

-I still think you should accept the gifts and sell them

-MIYEON

Miyeon and Soyeon approached Soojin

-It's a waste not to keep these gifts

-It's not right for me to accept

-Waste is these chocolates ending up in the trash

Soyeon looked at her watch

-The game will start in a little while, we better go

As they headed for the basketball court, Soojin couldn't help but think about Yeh Shuhua, captain of the basketball team, and the reason why Soojin rejected all her admirers, Shuhua was just too beautiful to ignore with her long hair, pretty smile,  delicate features, she had met Shuhua when she was appointed to show her the school, Shuhua had moved to Seoul with her family recently and her shy way and accent won over Soojin quickly, despite Soojin being a year older than Shuhua she helped her with the studies whenever she could and she could say they were friends, but Soojin wanted to be more than that. They arrived at the court and found a place in the stands to sit, Soojin rolled her eyes as she noticed Shuhua's fan club shouting her name "Don't they know Shu doesn't like screaming during the game?"  Soojin turned her attention back to the team on the court, Yuqi, Minnie and Shuhua were running around the court doing some hoops and she couldn't help noticing Shuhua's strong body

- Close your mouth, saliva is running down the floor

Miyeon commented with a laugh and Soojin glared at her

-As if you weren't looking at Minnie the same way
