The move to Seoul was more difficult than Shuhua imagined, leaving her family, friends behind and learning a new culture and language was extremely exhausting for her, the only good thing that Seoul had brought her was Seo Soojin, the alpha was extremely quiet and kind, she was the only one who really cared about Shuhua and her well being, they were extremely different but understood each other in a way that Shuhua couldn’t understand, Soojin was like no other alpha she knew, she could spend the afternoon listening to Shuhua telling about her day or just accompanying her on a walk in the park, Shuhua used to hate the silence until she met Soojin, now she could spend the day sitting next to her in silence and that wouldn't bother her, Soojin's mere presence was enough for her. Shuhua knew that much of the attention she received at school was due to the fact that she was an omega, she was not the innocent omega that many thought she was, many alphas approached her in the halls, some even with gifts for her but she would not submitting to anyone, she wanted someone special, romantic, caring and who didn't see her just as an omega, someone like Seo Soojin. Some alphas used to make fun of Soojin in front of her but she always made a point of defending the Korean, no one would treat her Jin ah badly if she could avoid, "My Jin ah" Shuhua didn't know how or when but she had fallen in love with Soojin and didn't know what to do, the alpha was shy and reserved and if she liked someone she hadn't demonstrated yet, they had known each other for a few months and spent all their free time together, Shuhua accompanied Soojin in taekwondo training and Soojin would pick her up when she left the center languages, they also made some friends over the months, Yuqi and Minnie studied at the same school as them but Shuhua only met the duo when she started studying Korean, Yuqi was a bossy, loud, rambunctious, excitable and playful alpha and Minnie a very beautiful beta who could match Shuhua´s energy and  secretly dated another beta from their school, Cho Miyeon, at first Shuhua found it strange that two betas were dating but after getting to know the two better she could see how much they were in love. At first Soojin didn´t liked Yuqi very much, Shuhua suspected she was jealous of her relationship with Yuqi since she and Yuqi were always running and screaming when they were together, but after one group study when Yuqi revealed her love for Jeon Soyeon, an omega of their school band, Soojin started to warm to Yuqi and they became closer.

 Shuhua and Soojin were talking leaning against Shuhua's locker when the basketball team approached the two

-Looking good Yeh Shuhua, why don’t you hang out with a real alpha? This loser can’t be the alpha you need 

Shuhua rolled her eyes

-Kim Dahye, I already said that I have no interest in you

Kim Dahye didn't seem to like Shuhua's response at all

-Listen omega, who is going to be your alpha? It’s time that you choose, don’t you think? Your smell is going stronger, your heat is coming right? You need an alpha to take care of you 

Shuhua looked angrily at the player

-First, I don't need an alpha for anything and even if I did it wouldn't be one of you stupid alphas

Kim Dahye went over to Shuhua

-You think you're a great thing, right omega? But you are nothing more than a , omegas are just for breeding, that’s your only purpose, you will be lucky if an alpha like me wants an omega like you to be their mate

Kim Dahye cornered Shuhua in the locker but before she could do anything Soojin pushed her away from Shuhua, throwing her at the wall
