Soomin plays among other kids with a toohless smile just like Shuhua and Soojin couldn´t be more proud,  her chest swells with pride watching how her pup is beautiful and smart, just like her mama, it had been a month since she found out she had a daughter and she still hadn't gotten used to the idea.

Soomin opened a big smile when she saw that Soojin had gone to pick her up at school, she still didn't know that Soojin was her sire but little by little Soojin was integrating into her daughter's routine, it took a lot of conversation with Shuhua to make it happen but she seemed to trust Soojin more. At first Shuhua didn't leave Soomin alone with her but little by little she let her guard down, Shuhua owned a small coffee shop that she set up with the money her Nainai left her and whenever she couldn't pick Soomin at her school she asked Soojin, the older had rented a small apartment near their house but was not working , she had her savings to support her for the next few months and her only focus was build a new relationship with Shuhua and Soomin

-How was the class today?

-It was fun, we saw a documentary about giraffes and I can't wait to tell Imo Ugi

Soojin smiled as she remembered her old friend's obsession with giraffes, this was another relationship she wanted to resume, when she moved to London she also cut ties with three of her best friends, Soyeon, Yuqi and Miyeon, which she deeply regretted as the three of them could have told her about Soomin. The three of them helped Shuhua rasing Soomin and she couldn't be more grateful, Yuqi was Shuhua's partner at the coffee shop and slapped Soojin right in the face as soon as she saw her, her mate Soyeon just followed the scene with a mocking face but made threats to Soojin's member when everyone was distracted, the only one she hadn't meet yet was Miyeon, apparently she had fallen in love with a Thai businesswoman and she and her mate were traveling to Thailand

They talked all the way to the coffee shop, Soomin excitedly told her about school while Soojin looked at her with a proud smile, she really is a smart kid, as soon as they arrived at the coffee shop Soomin ran towards Yuqi to tell her about the documentary while Soojin delivered her backpack to Shuhua, their relationship was much more cordial, Soojin still felt a barrier between them but she had hope of one day regaining Shuhua's trust, they talked quickly and Soojin said goodbye to the three and went back to her car , she would love to spend more time with Shuhua and Soomin but she knew she should respect Shuhua´s space and her boundaries

Soomin goes about her day as she and her mama had dinner, as much as Shuhua still felt some apprehension it was undeniable how much Soojin's presence was good for her daughter, Soomin didn't have many friends because some parents didn't want their children to be friends with her for having an unmated omega mother, Shuhua and her friends did everything to make her not feel alone but Soomin had acquired a new glow with Soojin's presence in her life, the alpha made the pup her biggest priority and Soomin adored her new friend... if only she knew.. .

-Mama, are you alright ?

Shuhua turned her attention to her daughter

-I am baby, don't worry

Soomin smiled and continued telling Shuhua about her day.

One of her classmates had told Soomin that the nearby town had a zoo and the girl tried to convince Shuhua to take her, Soojin was at the coffee shop too and she jumped at the opportunity to buy the tickets if Shuhua agreed, Shuhua didn't like to leave Yuqi alone in the coffee shop but their equal puppy eyes convinced her, on saturday morning a bouncing Soomin sang along with the radio while Soojin drove and Shuhua reviewed the list they had made with Soomin, the zoo was huge and they knew the girl would get tired before seeing all the animals so the three of them made a list of animals they wanted to see. As soon as they arrived at the zoo Shuhua put sunscreen on Soomin and a blushing Soojin, they took the backpacks, the tickets and headed towards the entrance, their first stop was the giraffes because Soomin had promised Yuqi the best pictures possible, after that they visited zebras, lemurs, lions, rhinos, tigers, monkeys and they even managed to convince a fearful Shuhua to visit the turtles and alligator water tanks. Just as they predicted Soomin got tired and asked a smiley Soojin to pick her up as they went to the food area, once they got there Shuhua sat at a table while Soojin and Soomin went to buy juices and water, she watched with a smile as Soomin tried to convince Soojin to buy her a cotton candy.

-Is she yours? She looks bossy

An ômega asked nodding towards Soojin and Soomin

-She knows very well that she can't eat cotton candy before lunch

-Not the pup, I'm asking about the alpha

Shuhua immediately tensed up when she noticed the way the omega looked at Soojin so she growled which caught everyone's attention, especially Soojin who looked at her worriedly.

-Back off

The omega raised her hands

-It doesn’t hurt to ask

-Shuhua are you alright?

A worried Soojin asked making Shuhua sigh

-It's nothing Soojin, Yeh Soomin what I said about cotton candy before lunch

Soomin looked at Soojin asking for help

-Shuhua, it's just one

-Only one mama, pleeeease

- We're going to eat all of our lunch, we promise

Soojin said and Soomin pleaded at Shuhua with a toothy smile

-Just one

-Yay thank you Imo you the best

Soojin and Soomin did a happy little dance and Shuhua grinned as she looked at the alpha, she looked proud of herself for making their daughter happy, feeling Shuhua's gaze on her Soojin looked at her and mouthed

-Thank you

Soojin winked at her and immediately Shuhua turned red and turned her attention to her lunch.

After lunch they walked around the zoo a little more and then went back home, Soomin slept the whole way which gave the two adults a chance to talk, they didn't get awkward with each other anymore and chatted excitedly about things from their past and about the coffee shop gossip, as soon as they arrived at Shuhua's house Soojin carried Soomin to her room, laying her down carefully while Shuhua took off her clothes and put on her pajamas

-She is a heavy sleeper just like you

-Jin I mean Soojin

Soojin smiled at her slip

-Gahyeon birthday is next week

-Who?

-Siyeon and SuA´s pup, remember?

-Ah, Soyeon´s cousin! It´s been years

-Yeah, she knows you are back in town and invited you too

-And would you feel comfortable if I went?

Soojin asked in a shy way and Shuhua smiled at her

-I would love for you to go, Gahyeon is only four but she and Soomin are good friends

-Then I'll be there, I promise

Soojin bent down and placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead, looking at Soomin with such affection that Shuhua feels a surge of pride well up in her chest, she always knew that Soojin would be a good mother  but she was doing much better than she expected

The week went by fast and when Soojin noticed she was in Siyeon's backyard chasing a hype Soomin, Shuhua hadn't exaggerated when she said that she and Gahyeon were good friends, the two of them were running madly through the grass screaming and laughing, Soojin meet some old classmates and despite the judgmental face of some she had fun talking to them

-She is good to Soomin

Shuhua turns to find Minnie standing by her side

-Minnie unnie you are back

They immediately embraced, which was not unnoticed by Soojin who immediately became alert to see the unknown alpha hugging Shuhua.

-Where is Miyeon unnie?

-Inside, gossiping with SuA
