Everyone was born with different colored eyes, one of which was natural, and one of which was the color of your soulmate's eyes. It was said that when you meet your soulmate, your eyes both become their natural colors but most people would live their whole lives without meeting their soulmate.

Soojin's father responded to her when she asked about soulmates
