Writer's block

When Soojin first met Wolfie online she thought she might have been catfish because no one could be as smart and funny as him, they started interacting with each other on Animal Crossing's forum, at first they only talked about the game but as time went by they started talking about other things, video games, dramas, both complained about their classes at the university, about music and their families, everything. Soojin was a shy girl but with Wolfie she felt the urge to talk about everything, she never felt like this before, at first she thought that Wolfie saw her only as a friend but little by little he started to praise her, flirt with her and she became more enamored, Soojin always looked forward to chatting with Wolfie, the boy listened to her attentively and always advised her when she needed it, Soojin told Wolfie things that would never tell anyone else, the only thing that bothered her about Wolfie is that despite living in the same city he always made excuses not to meet her, a university paper, a trip with his parents, even conjunctivitis he already had, he had never sent her a picture either, Soojin's best friend Minnie thought he was a ert, probably an old man looking for little girls while Soyeon thought he was ugly and that's why he didn't want to meet her in person.

She would suffer a lot if Wolfie was an old ert but if he was ugly she wouldn't mind at all,  she had fallen in love with who he is and not his physical appearance, he was almost perfect but Soojin know he's hiding something and she would find out once and for all

Sj: We should meet in person

There was a long pause before Wolfie began typing again

Wf: This week is not a good week Jin ah

Sj: Every time I ask to meet in person you make an excuse, what are you hiding from me Wolfie? Are you an old ert?

Wf: ABSOLUTELY NOT

Sj: So why can't we meet?

Wf: Jin ah...

Sj: Have you been pretending to be someone else this whole time?

Wf: I'm myself Jin ah, I just don't know if you'll like what you'll see

Sj: I don't care what you look like Wolfie, I just want to meet you in person, don't you want to meet me too?

Wf: I do...

SJ: So let´s meet, how about we meet at Neverland Park?

Wolfie stopped typing for a few seconds and Soojin got nervous, she was going to text him another message when

Wf: Saturday at 15:00 at the fountain

Sj: It´s a date

Wf: It is?

Sj: If you want…

Wf: I would love to

Saturday finally arrived and Soojin fixed her clothes once more after getting off the bus, she was extremely nervous and anxious to meet Wolfie, they had been talking for a few months and she really liked this guy but deep down she knew he was hiding something from her, she just hoped it wasn't a bad thing. Just in case she shared her location with Soyeon and Minnie and combined with them that if she didn't text after half an hour they should call the police. Soojin walked to the fountain in the middle of the park, she messaged her friend´s group chat that she arrived and waited for Wolfie appear, she didn't know what he looked like so she waited anxiously for any guy to approach. 10 minutes have passed since the time she agreed to meet Wolfie and the boy didn't show up, she decided to sit on a bench next to the fountain to wait for Wolfie, she sent him a message in the chat but got no response

-Where are you ?

A girl wandered up and sat next to her but Soojin didn't pay much attention to her, she was too busy talking to Minnie and Soyeon, after another couple minutes she shoved the phone back in her purse and started scanning the park again

-Hi

Soojin turned her attention to the girl sitting next to her, she had a nervous expression.

-Hello

-Are… are you Soojin?

Soojin looked at her confused

-Yeah, it´s me… do I know you?

The girl was extremely pale and for a second Soojin thought she was going to faint.

-I am Wolfie

-What?

-It's me... Wolfie

-Is this a joke? Are you his sister? Did he send you to test me?

The girl just lowered her head and Soojin stopped and stared at her

-Are you kidding me?

-I’m sorry… I should have told you sooner

-You… you are a girl

-I´m sorry
